S a v e u r s d e s s a I s o n s. fr ===is === We are at the Hotel Terms Pellegrino Montecatini-T Tel 71241 / 42 / 43 / 44 This is advertised as a Four Star Hotel. Our room, and especially the beds, do not even a single fucking star! === So, what is isolation like? I see isolation as two parts based on the food. The first two days we apparently were fed what the Hotel staff could find at the local grocery store. Then, we were given a menu of foods for each day until the projectedparole -er- release date. Finally, they started giving us breakfast and then menus for each day. The selections are pretty damn good! This is real Italian food and so different from Olive Garden! We'll still there because we like good speghitti. Our daily routine: There is a church near us, complete with bell towed. They ring bells at 8:15 am We roll out, use the toilet. I check my blood sugar and change the dressig on my left foot. Around 9 am, there is a knock on the door and we have delivery of: 1 Espresso each (I drink both) Breafast sandwch with Swiss Cheese and Italian ham Crossuant Orange Juice Aforementioned Espresso We are then given a menu of options for lunch and dinner. They give us way too much so we need to limit what we ask for. I've started asking for "Coke Zero". We are not allowed alcohol and provided only bottled water and the afore mentioned drinks. The local tap water tastes horrible! Our day revolves around meals, watching CNN and BBC Overseas, Kathie napping in the afternoon and watching the room maid sweeping and swabbing. She is fully clad in plastic armour, N95 mask and plastic face shield. She is simply darling! We occassionally go out on our balcony but not for long, it is chilly out. The medical people have come bye several times and are not AA bundled up as the cleaning lady. They probably realize we're not real threats. Each day is " SSDD" - "Same Shit Different Day" - and so it goes. It is better we spend these days sober. I drink thosetwo Espresso shots with breakfast nd have avoided caffeine wirhdrawal. === Centrale
