  • bisquit with honey
  • two servings of apple scrudle
  • iced water

It is hard to believe this small amount of sugar could cause my blood sugar to peak so severely!  It makes me realize that I have become far more sensitive to sugar and that I had better start taking better control of what I am eating. I should also do a better job of exercising... :-[

  • two eggs over medium 
  • sirloin tips
  • hash browns
  • two buttermilk pancakes
  • coffee and iced water
We actually had excellent service and the food was good.

________Lunch: bowl of roman

                 Snack: at  Boot Hill Museum where they had:

  • chopped up strawberries over a mixture of Greek Cheese and sour creamm on slices of "French" bread
  • very nice brownies
  • small glass of White Zin 

_______Dinner:  At Mike Casey's "Casey's Cowtown" for

  • salad
  • roll
  • sirloin steak
  • baked potatoe
  • iced water
We actually had excellent service and the food was good.

It took two requests for  the waitress to bring catchup0p and iced water to me...


Lunch:  a hot dog in bun and a hot dog in boiled rice

Dinner:  at the Dodge City Boot Hill Museum Restaurant for
  • salad
  • small little cup of chilli
  • half of a 12 oz ribeye steak
  • mashed potatoes with brown gravy and
  • iced water

We actually had reasonably good service...

Desert after the "blood test 2 hours after starting to eat dinner" was a gin-n-tonic

Fudge Recipe

Easy Chocolate Chip Fudge:

2 c. (12 oz. pkg.) Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips or mini chips
1-1/3 c. (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk in can
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sweetened condensed milk and chips in glass mixing bowl. Microwave on High (full power) about 1 to 1-1/2 minutes, until mixture is smooth when stirred. Add  vanilla. Spread in greased 8-inch square pan. Cover; chill until firm. Cut into squares.
