Lunch: At Casey's Cowtown: Large hamberger, fries and two glasses "Diet Pepsi"
Dinner: Two Arby's sliced beef and one barby beef burger and a can of D.P.
Pre-Bed Snack: gin-n-tonic...
People think that what they eat daily will always be remembered as normal, yet this isn't true. Someday, my descendants might be amused or appalled at what I eat...
Lunch: At Casey's Cowtown: Large hamberger, fries and two glasses "Diet Pepsi"
Dinner: Two Arby's sliced beef and one barby beef burger and a can of D.P.
Pre-Bed Snack: gin-n-tonic...

Snack: A small amount of dark choclate.
Dinner: Healthy Choice® Cafe Steamers™ Chicken Margherita (White Meat Chicken With Angel Hair Pasta * Roasted Garlic In Balsamic Vinaigrette Sauce) and a can of D.P.
Lunch: Kathie did her Lions District Governor visit to Lakin Kansas where we ate from the buffet: I had:
Snack at work: One of the fellows had brought in choclate cake and I'll confess to eatting two slices. I will also confess to feeling bloated and slightly ill afer each and I don't know if that was due to the cake or just a touch of hyperglycemia?
Oh, well, my A1C is in a month and is mine to have fucked up...
Dinner: A Marie Callender's® Fettuccini With Chicken & Broccoli (Chicken Breast in Creamy, Alfredo Sauce) and a can of D.P. This has just not been my day for going low on the salt...
After dinner, a bag of Boulder Canyon Natural Food "Malt Vinegar & Sea SaltPotatoe Chips" and some water.
Lunch: Steak (which I nearly finished), baked potatoe, yellow kali-flower and D.P.
Snack:A bag of popcorn with some dark choclate chunks and a can of D.P.
Dinner: South Beach Diet&trade Breakfast Wraps (All American) and a South Beach Diet&tradeChicken Monterey Wrap and one (1) can of D.P.
Lunch: A "Pappa John's" all meat pizza (well, my half was all meat and Kathie's was meat and awful shit like mushroom, black olives and chunks of onion> and a can of D.P. (of course...)
Snack: Some ice creamme and dark choclate left over from yesterday...
Dinner: A piece of boiled/fried boneless skinned chicken wrapped in a slice of sour dough bread (with low cal mayo), "Cheeze-Its" and a can of D.P.

Lunch: A piece of boneless, skinned chicken, boiled/fried in it's juices (it was partially frozen when I put it in the pan) and the whole thing between two slices of sour dough bread. I also had some crackers (I'll have to upload a picture of the bag) and a can of D.P. Not too bad
Snack: I walked on the treadmill for 15 minutes and rode the bicycle for 15 minutes. This may not sound like much but given that it is the second time I've worked out since breaking my ankle (physical therapy does not count!), then I feel pleased with this. Feeling low sugarry, I bought a small container of vinilla ice creamme and a bottle of dark choclate syrup and had some. I felt better... (duhh, no shit???)
Dinner: Salad from Dillions, with "chicken" and slices of some kind of sausage; when fried, this "sausage" isn't too bad but it is nearly inedible when "raw". It turns my stomach so I had a piece of sour dough bread with peanut butter and a little bit of vinilla ice creamme. And I wonder why my blood sugar was in the ridiciuos range two hour later?!?!?
Desert: A couple of gin-n-tonics. I have a simple logic for deciding to have a gin-n-tonic or not after testing my blood sugar. It is:
If the level if "good", celebrate with a gin-n-tonic.If the level is "poor", have a gin-n-tonic anyway
If the level is bad, chastise myself, promise to do better and What the fuck! What have I got to lose tonight? Have two of them gin-n-tonics...
Lunch: Left over rice pilof, cooked with low sodium chicken broth and with chunks of chicken added (I had boiled the chicken in the broth) and being thirsty, two (2!) cans of D.P.
My wife asked what I wanted to do for dinner. I suggested makingThis versiion uploaded on 4 December 2007Her counter proposal was "let's go to Applebys and you can have a salad. You like Appleby's salads. (This is in recognition that nearly all salads made in town turn my stomach)
- two veggies,
- baked fish and
- "Something else (i.e. fruit>
I counter with "I can have fahetias{sp}. (Another bad choice but much better than the salad-and-barf choice!)
Lunch: Left over rice pilof, cooked with low sodium chicken broth and with chunks of chicken added (I had boiled the chicken in the broth) and being thirsty, two (2!) cans of D.P. (Maybe this was a mistake. About 30 minutes after finishing this lunch, I started feeling the rumble of impending diahreia and some nausia...)
My wife asked what I wanted to do for dinner. I suggested makingDinner: Applebys for a steak, loaded badked potatoe, onion rings, a strawberry dachheria and (God Help Me!) aHer counter proposal was "let's go to Applebys and you can have a salad. Dinner: Bar-b-qued Sirlion Steak, baked potatoe, boiled broccoli, a can of D.P. and water.
Lunch: At Quinos, a "Traditional" sub: ham, turkey, lettuse and a sauce (quite good and may lead to me eatting lettuse on samwhiches) and a "large Diet Pepsi".
Snack: Oddly enuf, I could not stand the thought of having ice creamme, even Dairy Queen ice creamme!
Dinner: Healthy Choice® Cafe Steamers™ Roasted Chicken Chardonnay (Chicken Breast WIth Pasta & Vegetables In Creamy Chardonnay Wine Sauce), about a 1/3 a bag of popcorn and a can of D.P.

Dinner: Marie Callender's Meat Lasagna with Ricotta & Mozzarella Cheese in Hearty Marinara Sauce, a bananna and a can of D.P.
It tasted good at first, say the first half. Then, it suddenly tasted way too salty and I wasn't sure I could finish it. I was hungry and managed to finish; now I'm wishing I'd taken a break from eatting and left the rest outside for the pleasure of the neighborhood dogs or (more likely) the neighborhood raccoon.I will definitely have a Healthy Choice meal tomorrow night! Now, I'm wondering if this'll be a barfing night but I'm not too sure of that...
Snack: A small bag of crackers.
Dinner: Healthy Choice® Cafe Steamers Grilled White Meat Chicken & Roasted Red Pepper Alfredo Sauce and a can of D.P.
Dinner: Healthy Choice® Cafe Steamers™ Creamy Dill Salmon (Wild Salmon Fillet Slices Over Penne Pasta & Broccoli Florets With Creamy Dill Sauce), part of a cup of coffee and a can of D.P.

Dinner: At Old Chicago salad, great lazanna and two beers (one a Sam Adam's Octoberfest) but no desert...

I woke up with vomit in my mouth and finally went and did the finger- down-my-throat routine. It was a simple matter of my stomach being too full and not emptying. I had to empty it "manually".
Lunch: This was the office luncheon:
My beef stew as taken from a recipie on the internet and modified a bit...
- homemade corn bread
- homemade rolls
- homemade aspargius, almond and something else casselor
- homemade choclate ice creamme
- excellent store bought vinilla ice creamme
- two cans of D.P.
I was afraid folks would not like my stew (this has happened in the past) but it was completely eatten. It may have helped that I brought in pastic bowls with maybe 3 times the holding capacity of the office's paper bowls...It was expensive but worth every penny I spent!
Even the office anarexic (a man!) ate two helpings (albeit small) of the stew. Nothing says "good
shit-er- stew like an self starver taking seconds...
Snack: Two choclate chip cookies and a can of D.P. Never eat a snack when you're hungry...
Lunch: French dip and Freedom French Fries and a couple of glasses of "Diet Pepsi" at Casey's Cowtown on Trail Street in Dodge City Kansas...
Dinner: 3/8s of a "Medium" Pizza from the house pizza place at the Wallmart "Super" Store and a quart (32oz) of "Miller"...
Lunch: I seem to recall I had a Healthy Choice meal and a can of D.P.
Dinner: It might have been the Appleby's salad and water...
Pre-Bed Snack: None...it was a "test my blood sugar night" and I would have tested right before going to bed...
Snack: A bag of popcorn around lunch time...
Lunch: Some stewed beef between two slices of sour dough bread, corn crackers and a can of D.P. around 1:30 PM (after I got home from work).
Snack: A piece of no sugar added pumpkin pie and a chunk of no-fat "whipped creamme"...
Dinner: I took two chunks of frozen boneless chicken (breast and something else), microwaved them to thaw them and boiled them with "fat free" beef broth for over an hour. Then, I added the left over rice pilof from last night.
Side effects:When it had cooked for a while, when I looked at it and saw a sheen of fat on the surface. My immediate reaction was "I'm going to be blowing chunks an hour or so after I go to bed." Yes, it had that appearance of a meal that would turn my stomach.Having put the food into this mess, I resolved to eat it anyway. After all, the rice pilof by itself almost never turns me stomach. I just figured I'd be in bed and would have woken up before Kathie got home from work and would have blown chunks before she got home.
I ate part of this meal but didn't seem to have much appitate. I perked up when I had the last small piece of
no sugar added pumpkin pie with a scoup of no-fat "whipped creamme".I didn't vomit after going to bed; I vomited about 20 minutes before I went to bed...
vomito ergo sum Roughly translatted from Latin: I vomit, therefore I am...
Not my idea of fun...
