were appreciated by my dog...)

Lunch: a large hamburger and fries at Casey's Cowtown

Snack: some choclate ice creamme

Dinner: Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers Chicken Margherita (Chicken
Tenderloins with Angel Hair Pasta & Roasted Garlic in Balsamic
Vinaigrette Sauce) and iced water

Snack: the rest of the left over choclate pudding; this really upset my
stomach...

Lunch: a small container of strawberry yogurt and later, a bierrock and
bottle of DP

(Chicken Tenderloin & Scrimp with Rice and Vegetables in Spicy
Cajun-Style Sauce) and iced water

Fosters' (not the oil can size)

Lunch: a piece of left over pizza (only about a week old...)

Snacks: Dillions had freeby/sample stands and I ate too many sweet;

Dinner: steak, baked potatoe and aspargus
Snack: gin-n-tonic (Bombay gin, so expensive I won't be drinking it
very often...)

that meant my body was dumping sugar all afternoon (micturate ergo sum)

Dinner: steak, baked potatoe and aspargus

Snack: gin-n-tonic (Bombay gin, so expensive I won't be drinking it
very often...)

Rich Choclate Pudding recipe

Here is a recipe I plan on trying:

Rich Chocolate Pudding

* 1/3 C packed brown sugar
* 1/4 C unsweetened cocoa powder
* 3 tbsp cornstarch
* 1 tsp instant espresso powder (optional)
* 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
* pinch of salt
* 2 C 1% milk, divided
* 1 lg egg
* 2 oz bittersweet chocolate bits (about 1/3 c)
* 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

1. Whisk sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, espresso powder (if using), cinnamon, salt, and 1/2 cup of the milk in medium saucepan.

2. Pour remaining milk into sugar mixture while whisking. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat. Simmer, whisking constantly, until slightly thickened, about 2 to 3 minutes.

3. Beat egg lightly in small bowl. Pour in 1 cup of the hot milk mixture while whisking. Pour egg mixture back into pan. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring, 2 minutes.

4. Remove pan from heat. Add chocolate. Whisk until mixture is smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.

5. Pour mixture into 4 serving dishes. Chill 2 hours or overnight, covered.

Breakfast: scrambled eggs with left over steak (my dog liked both!) and coffee

Lunch: plain yogurt with strawberries and later, two chicken legs from Dillions

Dinner: the Lions had a dinner at Lions' Park and we had

  1. KFC fried chicken (origional)
  2. two types of scalloped potatoes (the cheezy was best),
  3. I made Zatarain's (A New Orleans Tradition Since 1889) New Orleans Style Dirty Rice Mix,
  4. a couple of pieces of great choclate cake and
  5. two little bottles of cold water

Pre-Bed Snack: a gin-n-tonic

Breakfast: oatmeal and coffee

Snack: about half a corned beef sandwich

Lunch: yogurt with strawberries

Post Lunch snack: a deep fat fried chicken breast and chicken leg from
Dillions. The leg was better than the breast and I should have gone
with maybe 3 legs...
I had a bottle of Diet Pepsi with this.

Dinner: A Burger King double hamburger, fries and water.

Post Dinner Snack: a single shot gin-n-tonic. About an hour after going
to bed, a mouthfull of Malox {sic} for the GERP. From what my wife said
this morning, she would have benefited from a "man sized dose" of Pepto
Bismol (said "man sized dose" is about twice the recommended dose.
After all, "the best dose is an overdose"...)

6 September 2009 (final version)

Breakfast: oatmeal and coffee

Snack: most of a corned beef on sour dough bread sandwich and coffee

Lunch: a couple of brats, soaked in and then boiled in, really cheap
cooking beer (if Dillions analyzes my buying habits, they'll think I
only drink beer about once a year and cheap bad beer that that!) with
peppers.

Snack: at the "Sam's Club" in Garden City, Kansas, where we grazed on
the freebie's...

Dinner: About a half of three quarters of a medium "Sam's Club" all meat
pizza and a bottle of MDG. Big mistake, eating "Italian" and drinking a
beer to close to me bedtime; I kept waking up with GERP most of the
night...

Breakfast: a sausage, "egg" and cheese breakfast bisquit and part of a
chunk of home made "French Bread" (taken from a can) and coffee

Lunch: the rest of yesterday's stew, coffee and a "Grandmas Homestyle
Fudge Choclate Chip" cookie and coffee (I would be better off if I
didn't get the munchies...)

Dinner: steak, baked potatoe with cottage cheese, broccoli and water

Snack: a gin-n-tonic

Big problems ensued in that I ate dinner too late and the gin upset my
stomach. (I'm writing this the next day.) I had trouble getting to sleep...

Dinner: a three piece (2 breast, 1 wing) roasted chicken meal at KFC
with mashed potatoes and brown gravy and corn on the cob

Breakfast: most of a bowl of wheaties (with a bandanna). What I didn't
finish, my dog took care of! ;-)

Lunch: plain yogurt with strawberries and water

Snack: They had a luncheon at work so they had left over cooked
hamburgers. I ate a patty with mustard on it. (The gas I got made me
regret this...)

Dinner: Boiled chunks of pork chop, boiled potatoes and some boiled
sour kraut (I'll take this home with me, drain the juices and add the
rest of the bottle of "Frank's Sour Kraft" and that should taste good!)

Snack: some sausa on chips...
