scrambled eggs) and coffee
Lunch: at the Cassino, salad, hamburger with bacon, fries and water
Dinner: pork roast and a "steamer" of broccoli and noodles that turned
out to be noodles with a scattering of broccoli florets and water
People think that what they eat daily will always be remembered as normal, yet this isn't true. Someday, my descendants might be amused or appalled at what I eat...
Lunch: at the Cassino, salad, hamburger with bacon, fries and water
Dinner: pork roast and a "steamer" of broccoli and noodles that turned
out to be noodles with a scattering of broccoli florets and water
Lunch: plain yogurt with strawberries and later, 6 of those Little
Debbie sugar donuts. (Can any one say "low blood sugar"?)
Dinner: From the Appleby's take away, some cheese sticks (my wife asked
for "Ranch Dressing" and got "Marinara" instead), a large hamburger,
fries and water
Lunch: yogurt with strawberries and water and later, some minute steak...
Dinner: left over chicken and pilof with water
Lunch: rubin and tomatoe soup
Dinner: chicken, rice pilof and aspargius and water
Pre-Bed Snack:
Lunch:
Dinner: at "Bad Habits", a re-opened restaurant, where I had onion rings, salad, 12 oz Sirloin steak and baked potatoe
Lunch: at a seafood place in Wichita, a cup of bacon potatoe creamme
soup, small piece of Atlantic Salmon, baked potatoe and "Diet Pepsi"
Snack: glass of "Diet Pepsi" on the way home

peanut butter and grape jelly (and water)
Lunch: At Casey Cowtown: steak salad, two little crackers, small bowl
cottage cheese and water
Dinner: At Olive Garden in Wichita, salad, speghetti with meat sauce and
meat balls, part of a desert and water
After dinner at the Hotel: two beers
In the past, we normally ate dinner at the "Whiskey Creek", which is
within walking distance of the hotel we were staying at. I would have
one or two beers with dinner and after we got back to the hotel, I might
have a strawberry dacherie or two or an SD and a beer. I could count on
GERP and vomiting after I went to bed. This didn't happen this night! I
felt great! It finally occurred to me that Whiskey Creek steak was
simply too greasy for that late in the night; there were times I was
feeling ill before we even left the "Whiskey Creek". So, my wife and I
decided that we won't be going back there in the future (besides,
Whiskey Creek, as a steak place, isn't anything special any more. We
prefer Casey's Cowtown (cheaper too) or Montana Mikey's (in Dodge) as
their steaks aren't as greasy or expensive...
Lunch: yogurt with strawberries and later, a two egg-egg salad sandwich
and water
Dinner: boiled chicken breasts, sliced (canned) potatoes and boiled
broccoli with iced water and later, some Oreos for desert...
Lunch: At Delmonico's (Mike Casey's other place): split cheeze sticks
with Kathie, a double hamberger with fries and two glasses of "Diet Pepsi"
Dinner: Two bierocks and water
Snack #1: mini-Oreo cookies
Since I forgot to bring my evening pills to work with me, I'll have to
eat something when I get home in order to have food in my stomach when
the evening metformin hits it. If I don't, metformin on an empty stomach
can lead to "lower GI distress"...
Snack: about a half glass of "Diet Pepsi" at the Casino. Since I don't
buy DP in the cases any more, having a DP (bottle or from tap) is a
"treat" about on a par with how often I drink a beer. I've found I don't
really like the taste of DP anymore and find beer more to my liking. The
irony is that I no longer like beer all that much...
Lunch: a bowl of Campbell's chicken noodle soup with a peanut butter
grape jelly sandwich (dunked in it) and water
Dinner: the very rest of the left overs of the meal I cooked on this
past Friday! Also, part of a bag of Cheeze-Its and iced water
Lunch: yogurt with strawberries and later, a chopped up hotdog boiled
with rice and coffee
Dinner: left overs from last night (the chicken broccoli casserol) and
then a bierock with mustard and iced water
(http://www.diabetes.org/food-and-fitness/food/recipes/chicken-and-broccoli-casserole.html)
Lunch: yogurt with strawberries
Snack: at the movie theater: a medium "Diet Pepsi" and nachos with
liquid "cheese"
Dinner: a casserol of chicken, broccoli and two types of cheese in a
sauce and water
(http://www.diabetes.org/food-and-fitness/food/recipes/chicken-and-broccoli-casserole.html)
Snack: a double gin-n-tonic...
Snack: a bag of Cheeze-Its and coffee
Lunch: At Casey's Cowtown: roast beef, mashed potatoes and brown gravy,
roll and butter and water
Dinner: From Appleby's "take out", a bowl of "French Onion Soup", four

Lunch: At "the Rat" (KFC), chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, a roll

Dinner: stewed pork chops, potatoes and sour kraut. This gave me a good
post dinner blood score of 114 but also gave me a serious case of
indigestion.
Lunch: plain yogurt with strawberries and later, a peanut butter and
grape jelly sandwich on a single slice of sour dough bread and coffee
Dinner: left over stewed chicken and rice pilof with boiled broccoli
florets addes (and water)
