Lunch: At Casey Cowtown: steak salad, two little crackers, small bowl
cottage cheese and water
Dinner: At Olive Garden in Wichita, salad, speghetti with meat sauce and
meat balls, part of a desert and water
After dinner at the Hotel: two beers
In the past, we normally ate dinner at the "Whiskey Creek", which is
within walking distance of the hotel we were staying at. I would have
one or two beers with dinner and after we got back to the hotel, I might
have a strawberry dacherie or two or an SD and a beer. I could count on
GERP and vomiting after I went to bed. This didn't happen this night! I
felt great! It finally occurred to me that Whiskey Creek steak was
simply too greasy for that late in the night; there were times I was
feeling ill before we even left the "Whiskey Creek". So, my wife and I
decided that we won't be going back there in the future (besides,
Whiskey Creek, as a steak place, isn't anything special any more. We
prefer Casey's Cowtown (cheaper too) or Montana Mikey's (in Dodge) as
their steaks aren't as greasy or expensive...
