We went to the bar as Kathie knows the bar tender and works with the bar tender's Mother.

Breakfast:  oatmeal and coffee and a small amount of vanilla ice creamme with fudge sauce (all at work).

Snack: a small piece of dark chocolate and some cold coffee

Lunch:  A 6" bacon/cheese breakfast pizza and a can of Pepsi One.

Lunch #2:  From McDonalds, 10 chicken thingies, large fries, large "Diet Pepsi"

Dinner:  Healthy Choice meatloaf and cold watger

I admit that two of the times were after having to get out of bed to drag the cat down from the top of the bedroom curtains. She likes to stand on top of the curtain rod and cry about being stuck up there (we think). She doesn't seems to mind being taken down. 

As for the "AM 123", I don't see how this could be; I had a Healthy Choice chicken meal last night. (I often wonder if "Healthy Choice" is really a "Healthy Choice" for a type 2 diabetic?). I have been feeling a bit under the weather lately so maybe that accounts for this rather excessive morning score?

Breakfast: oatmeal and coffee

Lunch: a homemade omlette with eggs and summer sausage (at work). There was a luncheon for some visitors and since they had too much food, us "outsiders" were allowed in. I then had some bar-b-qued pulled beef and pulled pork and a nice chunk of homemade (not by me!) chocolate cake, vinallia ice creamme and a homemade chocolate sauce.

This was really good!

Snack: piece of dark chocolate.

Dinner: Healthy Choice meatloaf dinner and cold water

cake recipe

You need two boxes of cake mix. One can be any flavor you prefer, but the other MUST be Angel Food cake mix. Mix them together (shake them in a big bowl). Then simply store the mixture in an airtight container until you get the urge for dessert. Then just put three Tbsp. of the dry mixture in a big coffee mug and stir in 2 Tbsp of water. Microwave it for one minute and you will have a single serving of cake! Top with fruit, ice cream, whipped cream or whatever! Awesome for those of us who want something sweet every now and then without making an entire cake!!!

Lunch: a bacon/cheese 6" breakfast pizza and can of Pepsi One

Lunch #2: left over roast beef, potatoes, gravy and cold water

Dinner:  We went to the Amy Wilkerson Memorial Dinner at the Knights of Columbus and I had:
  • salad with added canned shredded Pharachan Cheese
  • spaghetti with home made hamburger sauce (not enough juice)
  • slice of garlic bread
  • bottle of cold water
Pre-Bed Snack: a gin-n-tonic

Lunch: a small breakfast pizza (6" diameter) and coffee

Dinner: We went to the Boot Hill Casino Restaurant and I had:
  • salad with small cup of beef veggie soup
  • about half a 12 oz ribeye steak
  • about half a serving of mashed potatoes with  brown gravy
  • roll with butter
  • bottle of Sam Adam's Boston Lager (This is a rich beer and one was plenty!
Snack: a chunk of dark chocolate before bed

Lunch:  a can of chicken, after which I felt even more hungry. I then had some ice creamme at "Cold Stone" (big scoop of vanilla mixed with chocolate sauce and chocolate stripes) and I was not hungry afterwards!

Dinner: two enchiladas and a Healthy Choice chicken dish, with iced water

 Breakfast: oatmeal and coffee

Lunch: can of Healthy Choice chicken and rice soup with a peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich and a can of Pepsi Zero.

Snack: movie popcorn and "Diet Pepsi".

Dinner: We went to Cimarron's "Big Buck" Pizza place but it was closed. We have gone there on Sundays in the past but they were closed; we didn't appreciate a 42 mile round trip for nothing!

When then went to Pizza Hutt. I order via the cell fone and told the girl who answered "thick crust"; I told her twice! When we got home, we discovered they have given us a thin crust pizza.  The crust made a cracking sound when I bit into it and had it been slow cooked for about another 10 yours, it would have made fine hard tack!

I ate ¼ of the pizza and may have the rest tomorrow or the next day.

Since it was pizza, I also had a bottle of MGD...

Breakfast: basically the same as yesterday morning.  We ate at the hotel in McPherson Kansas and I had:
  • SOS on biscuits
  • slices of ham
  • more ham but on a slice of bread
  • coffee
  • some orange juice and
  • cold water
Snack: some Fretos

Lunch: at Burger King, for
  • a double hamburger with two little slices of undercooked bacon
  • fries
  • small "Diet Pepsi"
Snack: a couple of chunks of dark chocolate and iced water

Dinner: Healthy Choice meatloaf dinner, a chunk of dark chocolate and iced water

Breakfast: at the Hotel in McPherson where the Lions District "L" cabinet meeting was held and I had SOS on bisquit, a bit of scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee and water

Lunch: We went to Montana Mikes and I had:
  • salad with French Dressing
  • 8 oz filet
  • baked potatoe with cheese, and butter
  • two glasses of "Diet Pepsi"
Snack: a chunk of dark chocolate

Pre-dinner drink: a gin-n-tonic

Dinner: on one plate,
  • about a half plate of salad
  • about a quarter of a plate of boiled broccoli and carrots
  • a small amount of mashed potatoes
  • three small chunks of well cooked roast beef,
  • maybe a 1/2 cup of brown gravy,
  • desert and
  • iced water
This was the first time I've had this meal at this restruant and not vomited an hour or so after going to bed. I figure it was due to:
  • I didn't fill up with 2 beers before dinner
  • I didn't eat a large amount of roast beef and gravy and mashed potatoes
  • I didn't have cookies and water in the hospitality room
In other words, my stomach was well under full when I went to bed. I did get some gurgle up (I think) but pepto handled that very easily.

The amount of meat was enough to satisify my desire for the meat and I didn't get sick.
What more could I ask for?

Pre-breakfast snack:  a piece of chocolate zucchini bread with chocolate chips and coffee (very good)

Breakfast: Jimmy Dean® Breakfast Bowl (Bacon, Eggs, Potatoes and Cheddar Cheese) and another piece of that wonderful chocolate zucchini bread. A friend of mine at work told me his 13 year son had made it; I told him what a great job the lad did!

Lunch:  left over meat pizza from last night and a can of Pepsi Zero.

Snack: some little Oreos and coffee

Lunch: Healthy Choice meatloaf dinner and a can of Pepsi One.

Snack: chunk dark chocolate but no coffee

Dinner:  I could not face another Healthy Choice given the one I had for lunch was freezer burned and about 3 weeks past the pull date. I still ate it!  We went to a Pizza Place and I had a ¼ of a meat pizza and a MGD. Good beer

I suspect my summer cold is slowly ending. Sure, the blood sugar is back to a somewhat "normal" morning reading but I had to use the asthma inhaler shortly after I got to work around 4:47 am...

Breakfast: we went to the Knights of Columbus "Tough Enough To Wear" pink breakfast. This was a fund raiser for cancer victims. I had:
  • instant scrambled eggs (what  can I say?)
  • sausage
  • a sausage casserole; it was fine and I was able to pick out the fungus -er- mushrooms.
  • SOS (fairly good SOS at that!)
  • coffee
Lunch: two hamburgers and a bottle of Diet Pepsi

Snack: piece of dark chocolate and a half cup of coffee

Dinner: Healthy Choice Country Fried Chicken (chicken breast, mashed potatoes and white gravy, corn and an apple desert) and a chunk of dark chocolate and iced water

Breakfast: I used my big cast iron fry pan to
  • fry some mashed potatoes in olive oil (which left a real mess)
  • fried bacon
  • boiled or rather, fried two eggs
  • coffee
This was actually fairly good and I wiped out the fry pan and scrubbed it with salt. I'll have to remove the salt and rub the fry pan down with more extra virgin olive oil.  It will be interesting to make some pancakes in this seasoned fry pan and compare them with the non-cast iron fry pan...

Snack: chunk of dark chocolate and coffee

Lunch: at about 1:30 pm, I realized that I had better eat lunch. So, I went to Burger King for
  • double whopper, catsup and mustard only
  • large fries
  • medium "Diet Coke"
The crew was somewhat overwhelmed with customers and it was about 3 minutes to 2 pm before I got my lunch. I didn't enjoy it as I had to get back home to get ready to go to work and I had not been able to find the TV controller before leaving. I went home, checked the kitchen table, around the computer and around the couch and could not find the frigging TV controller.

Then, I realized that I was leaning forward and reaching under the couch. I looked and immediately saw the missing TV controller. I wish my subconscious mind would be more obvious in telling me where stuff is...

Dinner: Healthy Choice Chicken Parmigiana with broccoli and iced water

Snack: a big chunk of dark chocolate and iced water

Breakfast: I rinced out my large cast iron skillet and fried up
  • bacon
  • two badly fried eggs
  • had two slices of sour dough toast with grape jelly
  • and coffee
Snack: a chunk of dark chocolate

Lunch: left over Zatarans "dirty rice" and boiled broccoli, cold water and coffee

Snack; another chunk of dark chocolate and a cup of (poor) instant coffee

Dinner: Healthy Choice Country Fried Chicken dinner and iced water.

This was the first time in months that I did not wake up to pee. Also, it was the first time in weeks that our cat did not get up on the TV cabinet, decide she could not get down, and cry for help. This means my wife didn't wake me up and say "go  rescue our baby!"
