Breakfast: I used my big cast iron fry pan to
- fry some mashed potatoes in olive oil (which left a real mess)
- fried bacon
- boiled or rather, fried two eggs
- coffee
This was actually fairly good and I wiped out the fry pan and scrubbed it with salt. I'll have to remove the salt and rub the fry pan down with more extra virgin olive oil. It will be interesting to make some pancakes in this seasoned fry pan and compare them with the non-cast iron fry pan...
Snack: chunk of dark chocolate and coffee
Lunch: at about 1:30 pm, I realized that I had better eat lunch. So, I went to Burger King for
- double whopper, catsup and mustard only
- large fries
- medium "Diet Coke"
The crew was somewhat overwhelmed with customers and it was about 3 minutes to 2 pm before I got my lunch. I didn't enjoy it as I had to get back home to get ready to go to work and I had not been able to find the TV controller before leaving. I went home, checked the kitchen table, around the computer and around the couch and could not find the frigging TV controller.
Then, I realized that I was leaning forward and reaching under the couch. I looked and immediately saw the missing TV controller. I wish my subconscious mind would be more obvious in telling me where stuff is...
Dinner: Healthy Choice Chicken Parmigiana with broccoli and iced water
Snack: a big chunk of dark chocolate and iced water
