29 November 2009

Breakfast: left over turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy and coffee

Lunch: 1.5 Rubans and water

Dinner: At Applebys, split the big appetizer plate with Kathie and had a
bowl of "French" onion soup

The dinner was selected to minimize the chances of me losing my dinner a
couple of hours after going to bed; it didn't work. To paraphrase Vir
Koto: "It tasted so good going down, not so good coming back up."

Breakfast: At "Vernon's Place" (ok, "Golden Pancake House, the
intersection of Wyatt Earp Blvd and the Overpass in Dodge City): two
eggs over medium, hash browns, bacon, two slices whole wheat toast with
grape jelly and several cups of coffee.

Lunch: a balony sandwich, bowl of cream soup with chicken and potatoes
and a bottle of DP

Dinner: left over beef stew with a bag of Cheeze-It crackers and water

Breakfast: wheaties and coffee

Lunch: some homemade corn bread, several bowls of different chilli (we
had a chlli contest at work...) and some ice creamme and a couple of
glasses of bottled Diet Pepsi

Snack: some ice creamme with a nice and bad-for-me choclate covering

Dinner: Boston Market Meatload with Homestyle Mashed Potatoes & Gravy
and ice water

Thanksgiving Day 2009

Breakfast: "Big Omlette" sandwich and potatoe "disks" and coffee from
Burger King

Lunch: turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, 2 rolls with grape
jelly and two glasses of White Zin

Desert: slice of pumpkin pie with no-sugar whipped creamme

Dinner: peanut butter and jelly on a single slice of sour dough bread
and water

25 November 2009

Breakfast: (late) Golden Pancake House (AKA "Vernon's Place") pork
chops, hash browns, 2 fried eggs over medium, whole wheat toast with
grape jelly and coffee

Lunch: plain yogurt with strawberries

Dinner: at Casey's Cowtown: cheese sticks, fried chicken (dry and I
should have had a steak), baked potatoe and water

Post-Dinner: a gin-n-tonic

Breakfast: Kathie's Big Breakfast of scrambled eggs, Serri Lee coffee
cake, a bacon sandwich (shared with my dog, of course!) and coffee

Lunch: Two brats and a bottle of Diet Coke (both were mistakes...)

Snack: four Little Debbie powder sugar donuts and a cup of coffee
(later, I couldn't tell which made me feel more jittery and which upset
my stomach more: the sugar or the caffein. Regardless, I won't be having
that again soon...

Dinner: stewed pork chops, sour krat, rice and broccoli and I wish I had
some Pepto Bismol for desert!

Breakfast: cherrios and coffee

Lunch: plain yogurt with strawberries and then a bowl of homemade (and
great!) ham and potatoe soup at a place called "The Safe" at 740 North
2nd in Dodge City. After that and thinking if I could have 2nd lunch at
a local small shop, I could get a big mocha latte at another local spot:
House of Jones (coffee shop)

I congraduated the cooks at "The Safe" and asked their schedule; I plan
on taking my wife there for lunch on Tuesday, 1 December as I think
she'll like the soups...

Dinner: steak, baked potatoe, broccoli and later, a single shot
gin-and-tonic (which I kept down amazingly enough given the fat in the
steak and the volume of the gin-n-tonic!)

Dinner: Marie Callender's Pasta Al Dente "Old World Rigatoni Bolognesse"
(Rigtoni in Slow-Simmered Tomato Sauce with Tender Beef, Vegetables, and
Parmesan Cheese) and ice water

Snack: popcorn and water

tenerloins with linguini & vegetables in fire-roasted tomato basil
sauce) and iced water

HOMEMADE CORN BREAD from HOMEMADE CORN BREAD

1 cup flour

1 cup corn meal

3 tsp baking powder

½ tsp soda

1 egg

1 cup buttermilk

pinch of salt

2 Tbsp oil

Option: Some use 1 cup sweet milk and 1¾ tsp cream of tartar

Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes

sandwhich (with coffee)\

Lunch: plain yogurt with strawberries and later, a half peanut butter
and grape jelly sandwich with a bottle of Diet Pepsi

Dinner: Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers Cajun Style Chicken & Shrimp and
then a bag of popcorn and water

Breakfast: McDonald's Big breakfast of sausage patty, scrambled eggs,
potatoe thingie and coffee

Breakfast #2: (from the "enhanced Contiental Breakfast") at the motel we
stayed in a McPerson: a hard boiled egg, sliced, and between two halves
of a slice of bread

Lunch: at Perkins in Great Bend: roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy
and corn. I had "Diet Coke" to drink.

Dinner: two hot dogs, a can of chicken noodle soup and potatoe chips
with cottage cheese

Snack: a single shot of gin-n-tonic and it stayed down...
