1 cup flour
1 cup corn meal
3 tsp baking powder
½ tsp soda
1 egg
1 cup buttermilk
pinch of salt
2 Tbsp oil
Option: Some use 1 cup sweet milk and 1¾ tsp cream of tartar
Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes
