Tuna Noodle Casserol (a recipie...)

Rectangular noodles: boil up enough for 3 or 4 cups of cooked noodles. (I'm not very precise on this measurement; better to have too much than not enough; you can freeze the leftovers).

Two cans of tuna (try for the mammal free...)

Two cans of cream of mushroom soup

a cup or two of sliced sharp cheddar cheese

Mix the ingredients together and place in a large casserol dish. Crumple several (3 to 5 that is) handfulls of potatoe chips on top of the mixure. Bake for perhaps 15 minutes at the standard temperatue: 325 F!

30 April 2006

Breakfast: Two eggs (sort of fried in that I let them "set up" on one side and then rolled them over a couple of times), well cooked bacon, two slices of toast, cup of coffee and a Diet Pepsi.

Lunch: An Arby Southwest Chicken club salad and one of their new roast beef "Gyros". It was good but really all I can say is: the genuine Greek restraunts have nothing to fear from this!!!

Dinner: As a joke, I suggested my "tuna noodle casserol". My wife and her Father thought I was serious and we had that tonight. This is basically, boiled noodles, cans of Tuna (Dolphin free?), cream of mushroom soup mixed and cooked and potatoe chips crumpled on top (I've another blog giving this recipie); boiled brocolli; a Henry Weinhart's Private Reserve beer. It was a fine meal; I also had a half slice of bread...

Lunch: A can of Diet Pepsi and some "glop" ("glop" is a couple of small pork chops overly cooked in sour krat and a couple of medium potatoes (overboiled). The krat got a bit burned so this is the kind of lunch that only I (in our family) could like...

Dinner: The Kwanias had a spegetti feast at the National Guard Armoury. I had spegetti with meat sauce, a salad with French dressing, ice tea, brownie and a fansy desert ginned by a co-worker. I'll have to get the recipie.

24 April 2006

Breakfast: Left over steak (from the day before), two scrambled egges, toast and Diet Pepsi.

Lunch: An Arby's Chicken Club salad.

Dinner: We ate at a restraunt in Montezuma while visiting the Montezuma Lions Club. We had planned to ordering off the menu and in paying for our order; there was no need to do so. This Lions Club had ordered samwhichs on French Crosaunts. There was also a big plate of mixed fruit (I had some strawberries and some kind of melon). I had two samwichs (one with sliced meat and the other with chicken salad). The first Crosaunt was slightly stale. It was worth slightly more than what we paid...

Snack: We got home and I ate some peanut butter and then leftover sugar-free-fat-free Choclate pudding.

Bad choice
Very bad choice

Both the peanut butter and the milk in the pudding started the phlem pumps pumping and I kept coughing and hacking and ended up taking some coff medicine. It didn't work so I used my inhalier and that worked...

(I waas typing when my older cat demanded up on lap,)

Self Absorbed...

Can you think of a more self absorbed blog than me "blogging" what I've eatten that day?

I suppose "blogging" my various blood sugar readings would top it. (I'm a diabetic and have to "test" my blood sugar.) Yeah, it probably would...

Fortunately, it seems like my various blogs do not get mentioned on the "recent blog" postings and so blessed obscurity keeps me from knowing people are going "what a self-absorbed ass (hole?)!

Well, it might come in handy for me some day and it certainly helps me keep track (sort of) of what I eat. That has servival value for me even if it lacks amusement value for others...

22 April 2006

Breakfast: bran flakes and half a peanut butter samwich (which was in the freezer...I had been eatting it last week and suddenly got a feeling of incredible fullness. I literally count not eat another bite. The last time I felt this was in Navy Boot Camp - Company 170/70 at Orlando Florida - and I truly wish I'd been feeling this every since!!!)

Lunch: A McDonald's grilled chicken club salad and a "Diet Pepsi". It tasted rather good...

Snack: A Healthy Choice "Premium Fudge Bar"

21 April 2006
