Lunch: at the Hutchinson Olive Garden for

    • with meat sauce and
    • meat balls
  • two glasses of "Diet Pepsi"

Dinner: at home, I had a Healthy Choice Meatloaf and glass of water

Breakfast: at the Best Western Hotel in McPherson Kansas for
  • Oatmeal
  • SOS over potatoes
  • small glass of orange juice
  • coffee

Lunch: at Montana Mike's in McPherson Kansas for:
  • Potatoe boat appetizer
  • hamburger
  • fries

I ordered potatoe boats as an appetizer. When the burger came out first, I asked "where are my potatoe boats"? The waitress said "I forgot to put them in." She did put them in and comped the cost...
Dinner: At the hotel for the traditional Lions Dinner Of:
  • Salad mashed potatoes
  • roast beef gravy
  • most of a slice of cheesecake
  • decaf coffee

I flagged down a “waiter” who told me they were making more decaf coffee. He then said he would – and did – tell me when the decaf coffee would be available so I could pour myself a cup. If we are paying him to be a waiter, should not he actually behave like a waiter and get the fucking customer a cup of fucking coffee? (Oh, wait, this was a banquet so the people paying for his services can damn well go get their own coffee!)

 I felt fine after eating.

We then went to the Montana Mike's bar and I had two Margaritas on the rocks. I felt drunkish but fine.

I slept very well. I the past, I would have been blowing chunks after the fat in the roast beef and the fat in the gravy. This year, the meat was much less fat and the gravy tasted like something that had come out of a can. It was low fat. The low fat reduced the flovour but also did not result in me blowing chunks.

Breakfast: Aunt Jamaica pancakes and coffee

Lunch: tuna fish sandwich and coffee

Snack: some Frito's and a glass of lemonade. This was bought from a lemonade stand being run as part of a bucket list item for a dying girl.

Dinner: at the Best Western Hotel in McPherson Kansas for the Fall State Council Meeting:
  • Salad
  • chicken fried steak
  • mashed potatoes
  • roll and margarine
  • very small piece of apple desert

Snack: two Margaritas (first frozen and the second on the rocks)

About an hour after going to bed, my stomach started bothering me. About 3 hours after going to bed, I vomited 7 times. This was mostly bright red liquid with very dark red streaks. This was very unpleasant and I had to mop up the floor...

Breakfast: Basically odds and ends or
  • a small bowl of the left over rice pilaf
  • and creamme of wheat and two slices sour dough bread
  • coffee and the last cookie I made an stored in the freezer

Snack: the last chocolate chip cookie and a small cup of coffee (Why not? The VA took blood and urine samples this morning so I guess I can afford to eat a cookie without changing my blood sugar.)

Lunch: At the Dodge City Community College (DCCC) for:
  • salad with cheese, cubed ham and an egg
  • two boneless pork chops
  • rice
  • “dirty” rice
  • Chocolate ice creamme
  • Glass of “Diet Pepsi”

Snack: some dark chocolate chips and a cup of coffee

Dinner: We didn’t want “Healthy Choice” so we went to “The Rat” (KFC) for:
  • Extra crispy breasts (2)
  • Extra crispy wing
  • Two orders of “potatoe wedges” and
  • A “Diet Pepsi”.
I ate the wing, one breast one order of potatoe wedges and most ot the “Diet Pepsi”. I will finish off the rest either tomorrow for breakfast or perhaps dinner.

  2. Baked potatoe chunks

  4. Ice creamme
  5. Glass of “Diet Pepsi”

Snack: small amount of old dark chocolate chips

Dinner: two hotdogs, two ears of corn, a chopped up potatoe and cold water

Snack: a small amount (a ¼ cup of dark chocolate mixed with a ½ cup of milk and heated in the microwave oven.

Service was fine and the food was fairly good albeit bland.

Snack: the rest of my chocolate pudding and some poor homemade whipped creamme (Never again!)

Lunch: A slice of sour dough bread with peanut butter and grape jelly and cold water.

Dinner: A half of a Jimmy Johns roast beef sandwich and a can of tomatoe soup and cold water

Breakfast: baked chicken and dressing from the other day and coffee

  • Two patties of well cooked hamburger on a bun
  • French fries
  • Salad
  • Small amount of apple desert
  • Small amount of chocolate cake
  • “Diet Pepsi”

Dinner: We got pizza at Poppa Murphys. I had half a pizza of “meatlovers” and took a quarter of the pizza (half of my half). I got most of the way through it before I started barfing in my mouth. Yes, the fat from the hamburger really upset my stomach.

I took a bunch of tums and kept waking up thinking I should have gone and barfed. I eventually recovered…
