13 May 2009

Breakfast: oatmeal and coffee
When I got to work at 4:58 am, I looked into the office break room refrigerator and saw a left over (and well cooked) hamburger patty from yesterday. I didn't know how long it had been sitting out in the office library (during an office luncheon) and it had been sitting in the refer, in the open, overnight. There was no way I was going to eat it.

At about quarter to 7 am and having finished dinner at 5:56 pm the night before, I was having second thoughts about eating the hamburger patty. Finally, about 7:22 am, I rinsed it off, patted it dry and nuked it. With catchup and mustard, it was delicious!

"Hunger is the best appetizer."

Lunch: At Casey's Cowtown: what was supposed to be turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes with white gravy, a small bowl of cottage cheese, corn and a roll with butter.

Dinner: Three Taco Hell Bell Tacos and some nachos with cheese and whatever. I had a no-caffeine Root Beer. Given the choice of caffeine or sugar, tonight, I was better off with sugar but not caffeine. This is not the sort of decision a diabetic is supposed to make but I do need to get to sleep early tonight...

Pre-Bed Snack: some water...
