  • baked potatoe

  • two glasses of a fine beer who name I don't recall and
  • at the bar, a bottle of Dos Secus{sp}
The amazing thing is I kept the meal down in spite of beer and steak; the steak was quite low fat and that was the saving grace, I think...

We also skipped desert.

22 April 2014

Breakfast: Cheerios and coffee

Snack: a piece of dark chocolate and some chicken

Lunch: some chicken and crackers and a can of Pepsi One.

I started feeling light headed with cold sweat and weak; I was at Dillions so I bought a bowl of tapioca, dark chocolate and went home. Still feeling out of sorts, I suspected hypoglycemia and tested my blood sugar. It came up 74   , which is serious hypo for me. I ate the tapioca and some dark chocolate but didn't dare have any coffee (which might have reduced the blood sugar).

Dinner: Healthy Choice chicken Parmigiana and cold water

"micturition ergo sum"
as well as
vomito ergo sum"

I went to bed about 8:30 pm last night and around 10:15 pm, was blowing chunks .
The second urination happened when I was trying to walk off a severe cramp in my left foot, which may have been caused by dehydration.

Easter 2014

Breakfast: home made omelet made from:
  • three eggs
  • slices of Tillamook Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • pre-cooked bacon
  • can of Pepsi One
  • coffee
Snack: a couple of chunks of dark chocolate and some coffee

Lunch or late morning snack: another piece of dark chocolate

Lunch was about 1:35 pm, bedtime 8:30 pm and around 10:15 pm, I was blowing chunks

Dinner: two hot dogs in a bowl of Roman noodles. I was feeling ill when I ate this and should have  been forewarned...

 Breakfast: Wheaties and coffee

Snack: a couple of little squares of dark chocolate

Lunch: Healthy Choice classic Chicken & Noodles (Chicken Breast with freshly made noodles in a creamy sauce with vegetables) and some cold coffee

Snack:  a chunk of dark chocolate

Dinner: We went to "Big Bucks Pizza" in Minneola Kansas and I had the all meat pizza. I liked it and took home about half of my side of the pizza; it'll make a good lunch on Moanday. It had a lot of meat on it but my stomach was fine - no vomiting - so I guess it is the beer that makes me barf when I have a steak and a couple of beers...

Snack:  a Reeces cup and a gin-n-tonic...

And, as always,

6 April 2014

Breakfast: at IHOP where I had:
  • 2 slices of ham
  • 2 sausage links
  • 2 slices bacon
  • two eggs over easy (I had to send the order back as they brought me scrambled eggs)
  • 2 pancakes
  • coffee and
  • iced water
When I sent the plate with scrabbled eggs back, it returned with 2 eggs over medium and the meat that had been on it originally. Beyond this, the service was fine.

Snack: a couple of Reeces Pieces and a cup of coffee

Dinner: Healthy Choice Classic Meat Loaf and iced water and later, some little chunks of dark chocolate.

5 April 2014

Breakfast:  Kathie was at work so I decided to use my smallest cast iron fry pan. After all, being the one I haven't used more than once or twice, it is in great shape!  I made:
  • sliced and fried a small potatoe in extra virgin olive oil,
  • fried some bacon,
  • three small eggs boiled in the bacon fat and olive oil,
  • a slice of sour dough bread with grape jelly,
  • coffee and
  • some cold water.

I liked it!

Late morning snack: Tillamook extra sharp cheddar cheese on sour dough bread and put under broiler for several minutes, more coffee and cold water

Lunch: a nice ham sandwich and cold water (more  as well  )

Snack:  and a couple of little chunks of dark chocolate

Dinner:  Healthy Choice Country Fried Chicken and iced water and later, two chocolate chip cookies...

4 April 2014

Breakfast: Using the microwave "omelet pan", I made:
  • a three egg omelet with
  • chopped Tillamook Extra Sharp cheddar cheese
  • a chopped up hot dog and
  • dried onion flakes soaked overnight in the eggs
and coffee

Lunch: chips and cheese, a couple of chunks of dark chocolate and coffee at the local theater (I saw CAPTAIN AMERICA: Winter Soldier, which was excellent!)

Snack: a couple of chunks of dark chocolate when I got home.

Dinner: We went to Montana Mikes and I had:
  • salad with "French" dressing
  • a couple of rolls with butter
  • an 8 oz fillet
  • mashed potatoes with brown gravy (they were out of baked potatoes)
  • iced water
After dinner, we went to Dairy Queen and a had a banana split.

I would have liked to buy desert  at Montana Mikes but the waitress didn't bother asking us if we wanted desert. She dropped off the bill off and said "I will be your cashier". My attitude is that if the waitress can not be bothered to ask us if we want desert, I am not going to ask for it. This reduces the base for her tip and so she does not get the tip she could have with a simple "do you folks want a desert?"

I was annoyed...

An hour or so after getting home, a had a  gin-n-tonic  and felt a little queasy but kept everything down. I guess it is only a couple of beers with steak that makes my stomach revolt (leading to vomiting after going to bed...)
