Breakfast: Using the microwave "omelet pan", I made:
- a three egg omelet with
- chopped Tillamook Extra Sharp cheddar cheese
- a chopped up hot dog and
- dried onion flakes soaked overnight in the eggs
and coffee
Lunch: chips and cheese, a couple of chunks of dark chocolate and coffee at the local theater (I saw CAPTAIN AMERICA: Winter Soldier, which was excellent!)
Snack: a couple of chunks of dark chocolate when I got home.
Dinner: We went to Montana Mikes and I had:
- salad with "French" dressing
- a couple of rolls with butter
- an 8 oz fillet
- mashed potatoes with brown gravy (they were out of baked potatoes)
- iced water
After dinner, we went to Dairy Queen and a had a banana split.
I would have liked to buy desert at Montana Mikes but the waitress didn't bother asking us if we wanted desert. She dropped off the bill off and said "I will be your cashier". My attitude is that if the waitress can not be bothered to ask us if we want desert, I am not going to ask for it. This reduces the base for her tip and so she does not get the tip she could have with a simple "do you folks want a desert?"
I was annoyed...
An hour or so after getting home, a had a gin-n-tonic and felt a little queasy but kept everything down. I guess it is only a couple of beers with steak that makes my stomach revolt (leading to vomiting after going to bed...)
Better: "micturition ergo sum"
than: " vomito ergo sum"
