________Lunch: bowl of left over spaghetti and a cup of coffee

_______Dinner: Kathie made
  • salmon
  • baked potatoe
  • broccoli and
  • I had cold water

Pre-Bed Snack:  Small amount of dark chocolate chips

A problem we have with IHOP is we're told, when we're taken to a table "a server will be right with you."  It always take a while for a server to wonder over. Today, there seems to be plenty of servers for the number of customers and the servers were moving with "all deliberate [slow] haste".

_______Dinner: two hot dogs, two ears of corn, slice of bread with butter and cold water
Pre-Bed Snack:

I had a problem this morning:

I mowed the yard this morning and came inside intending to change my t-shirt and put on a long sleeved shirt. I was feeling tired and weak when I changed my clothing. I ate a handful of dark chocolate chips and then checked my blood sugar: it was 171, so I wasn't hypoglycemic. Regardless and ignoring the fact I had eaten the chocolate chips before checking my blood sugar, they way I felt was a very unpleasant experience.

The next morning, I found I'd forgotten to take my evening pills. I can only wonder what my evening blood sugar would have been...

Pre-Bed Snack:

Old Chicago does not offer spaghetti. But, if you ask your waitress, she will probably admit she can plate spaghetti for you. Don't get too demanding, don't expect too much and tip nicely!

    _______Dinner: Went to the Victory Electric Company dinner and was served:
    • steak
    • baked potatoe with butter and sour creamme
    • roll and butter
    Pre-Bed Snack: small amount of dark chocolate fudge

    The dinner was free and served at the Victory Electric stockholders meeting. They did well considering they were not professionals. The steak was precooked and room temperature when I got to a picnic table. The baked potatoe was very hot so I will assume the steak simply had the surface area that allowed it to cool.

    The soup was actually warm, the food good and the service actually better than merely adequate. Obviously, we had a new "server"...
