Wisdom from the Novel Dune by Frank Herbert:  “‘Think you of the fact that a deaf person cannot hear. Then, what deafness may we not all possess? What senses do we lack that we cannot see and cannot hear another world all around us? What is there around us that we cannot—’”   

This was just an interesting idea when I read it at age 22;  I see it as making a lot more sense now and wonder what we cannot see?  (The world in UV?)

This makes me wonder in ways I did not when first I read this back in 1972...
