19 August 2006

What I thought I remembered of the 19th on the 21st

Breakfast: McDonald's for pancakes and coffee (I think on the 21st)

Snack at the Pratt Dairy Queen (the McDonalds was "shut for remodeling") where we got glasses of DP and some snack chicken thingies...

Lunch: Lunch at Chicago something or another in Wichita where I had lazanna and a large Diet Pepsi.

Movie snack where I had two 32 oz draft beers (Budweiser, for God's sake!) and popcorn.

Dinner: At a nice steak house near the hotel, 16 oz Prime rib, two little double baked baked potatoes, salad with French dressing and Diet Pepsi.

Post dinner: Whilst listening to Patrick, a gin and tonic and a strawberry dahrehi and a tonic and lime (no gin).

I paid the price for this. Although we only ate half of our steaks and packed them in ice to take home (I finished them off on Monday 21 August 2006), I felt a bit queesy late. Combine a large meal with the booze and I kept waking up with stomach juices gurgling up. I slept very poorly...

What I actually ate. I found my written food diary and read this:
Breakfast: Aunt Jamami pancakes with 21/2 sausages (I scored!) and a cup of coffee and a can of D.P.

I didn't write down the snack bought when we stopped to pee.

Lunch Lazana and salad and Diet Coke at "Old Chicago" in Wichita.

Movie Snack Two (2!) 32 oz Buds (Thisis a piss beer but the only apparently decent beer they had at the Old Town Warren threter) and half (give or take a 1/4) of a bit container of popcorn...

Dinner: At Whickey Creek: Salad and half of a well done 16 oz Prime Rib chunk, one of two twice baked potatoes and two glasses of Diet Coke.

At the Bar (with Patick)

  1. Gin and Tonic
  2. 2 Strawberry Dacheries
  3. 1 tonic water with lime (but no gin)
