Breakfast: oatmeal with coffee

Lunch: I broke down and went to the "Rat" (KFC) and had the two piece
chicken breast and wing, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, corn (I was
hoping for a little "corn on the cob"), a bisquit with honey and a
medium "Diet Coke"

Dinner: half of a Subway Samwhich meatball sub, some cottage cheese
scooped up with potatoe chips and a gin-n-tonic. Despite early fears,
everything stayed down...

Lunch: two bierocks and a ham samwhich at home

Dinner: large hamberger and potatoe chips with cottage cheese

To quote Vir Koto: "It tasted so good going down...not so great coming
back up".

Lunch: about a cup of left over Zatarans (from last night), a peanut
butter samwhich and when I got home, a ham samwhich and a can of DP.

Dinner: steak, baked potatoe, broccoli florets and a bottle of MGD.

Breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon, Serra Lee Butter Strussel coffee
cake and coffee.

Snack: some dark choclate...

Lunch: two hot dogs and a can of DP (I really must stop drinking this
stuff!)

Dinner: Zatarans "dirty rice", broccoli and water.

Snack: A "small" gin-n-tonic (which was a mistake since it lead to me
having gurp...)

Lunch: balonna samwhich, chips and a can of DP.

Dinner: left over Appleby's chicken salad (from last night) and a
corned beef samwhich. I've found that I can't stand the taste of the
chicken when it is warm but that the chicken tastes just fine when cold.

Lunch: two slices of sour dough bread with thick sliced balonna

Lunch 2: (at the Red Cross Blood Drive): a sloppy joe, bag of
crackers, glass of water and cup of coffee

Snack: some choclate ice creamme

Dinner: a salad and a slice of bread with sharp Tillamook cheddar
cheese melted on it

Pre-bed snack: a GnT

Breakfast: whole wheat cherrios and 2% milk

Lunch: the rest of the left over beef stew and a bag of crackers, plus
water to drink.

Snack (at the movie): Popcorn and "Diet Pepsi"

Dinner: at Casey's Cowtown: salad with 1000 island dressing, large
prime rib, baked potatoe with butter and sour kreame, a roll and this
God Awful beer (Sam Adams with cherry something - tasted bad and smelled
worst!), an MGD (tasted blander but better than the Sammy Adams...) and
a glass of water.

Snack: a couple of glasses of water to wash down the Muslinex...

sausage" (and my last can of DP!)

Dinner: stewed pork chops, potatoe shredded into the pan and mixed
with sour krat and water.

Breakfast: Instant oatmeal, peanut butter on a slice of whole wheat
bread and water.

Lunch: Yogurt with strawberries and 2 little oranges ("Cuties"), with
peanut butter on the bottom slice of a hamburger bun and a can of DP at
home.

Dinner: baked hamburger, some broccoli florets and too much rice. (I
had intended to have some vanilla ice creamme after testing my blood but
some one finished it off...) Oh, well...

Breakfast: cherrios, banana, slice of bread with peanut butter and
cup of bad coffee.

Lunch: Yogurt with strawberries and a little orange; later, a bierock
and can of DP.

Dinner: Left over chicken and rice pilof, an apple and a bananna.

My blood sugar was way too high: 233. I wonder if it was the rice or
if I've been "under the weather" lately?

Breakfast: bacon samwhich, two fried eggs and a cup of bad coffee.

Lunch: chicken, rice pilof, asspargus and a can of DP.

Snack: a small McDonald's choclate milk shake; I had a craving and
this was my first one in years...

Dinner: Left over chicken and rice and broccoli florets from last night
and the real meal: two big apples! (Also, I drank some ice water.)

Snack: I ate a small amount of vinilla ice creamme and felt ill for
several minutes afterwards...

Breakfast: Kathie's big breakfast of scrambled eggs, Serra Lee coffee
cake, well cooked bacon which I made into a sandwich and a can of DP.

Lunch: Yogurt with strawberries and Splenda (no wonder I could not
remember this and had to ask my wife!)

Dinner: boiled chicken, rice, broccoli florets, water and a couple
of pieces of Dark Chocolate.

Lunch: homemade chicken soup with boiled chicken pieces, spaghetti
noodles and various seasonings.

Dinner: at Applebys, steak, "fully loaded" baked potatoes, broccoli
and water.

BASIC WHITE SAUCE

The following recipe, by Jim Hillbish, came from the 11 March 2009 issue of "Dodge City Globe":
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon white pepper
¼ cup white wind (optional)
  1. 2 cups milk,
  2. half and half or creamme (approximate)
______Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add white pepper is [as] to avoid the specks of black.
______You'll need a wire whisk or hand blender. That's important to inject air as it cooks. Remember too that sauces are delicate and burn fast. Keep whisking and keep the temperature on low. In the old days when stoves were not as adjustable, they made these in double boilers.
______I think white wine improves any white sauce, but that's optional. In sauces with cheese, you can increase the flavor by adding a dash of wine vinegar.

oatmeal), rice, broccoli florets, an apple, a bannana and water.

Breakfast: A peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat bread and a cup of
(bad) instant coffee

Brunch: Left over spaghetti and sauce with a can of Zero Carb DP. There
was more hamburger and sauce than I could eat but my dog solved that
little problem for me! He ate my leftovers and left the plate looking
washed!

Lunch: Plain yogurt with strawberries and Splenda and a large "Little
Cuttie" orange.

Dinner: Boston Market Meatloaf with home style mashed potatoes & gravy
and water.

Snack: Fancy potatoe chips...

Breakfast: Oatmeal and a slice of whole wheat bread with peanut butter
and a cup of bad coffee.

Lunch: At Taco Hell, a "plate" of two soft tacos, rice, refried
beans and cheese, chips and cheese and a medium "Diet Coke". Quite nice
and also cheap for a diverse meal...

Dinner: Left over stewed pork chops, potatoe, sour krat and water.
It gassed me up good!

Lunch: At Casey's Cowtown: a 7 oz prime rib steak (well cooked and
quite good - Mike Casey has a winner here!), instant mashed potatoes
with a tablespoon or so of brown gravy, a roll with butter and ice water.

Dinner: Stewed pork chop, part of a stewed potatoe, sour krat and water.

Dinner: Home made spaghetti sauce (hamburger, tomato sauce, too much
"Italian Seasoning", a dash of red wine), "French Bread" baked from
the can and a bottle of MDG.

creamme and water.

Snack: A couple of gnt and didn't get ill last night. Kathie also
"worshiped the Porcelain Goddess" at the same time I did early the
morning of the 1st. We suspect it was either the apple thing I cooked
or a cook with dirty hands at lunch...

Snack: I cooked an apple turnover that had been in the freezer for over a year. It didn't raise very well and we were uncertain as to it's quality; this was probably what caused Kathie and I to end up vomiting after going to bed...
