Breakfast: cherios and coffee
 
Lunch: a 6" sub sandwich from Quixos, a "cup" of broccoli soup, a half (actually slightly less) of a fudge cookie and a bottle of Diet Pepsi
 
Dinner: A Marie Callender's Country Fried Pork Chop with Cheddar Topped Mashed Potatoes & Gravy with Cinnamon Glazed Apples and a chunk of dark chocolate and iced water

Breakfast: cheerios and coffee, then a single slice of sour dough bread with peanut butter and grape jelly
 
Lunch:  MacDonald's for a "Big Mac", fries and a medium "Diet Coke".
Somehow, I remember the "Big Mac" being larger when it came out in the late 1960s and they seem to have added salt to their fries; there actually seemed to be more salt on them now than before... 
 
Kathie wanted something bland for lunch and was well satisfied that McDonald's gave her that (quarter pounder, fries and bottled water)
 
Dinner: A Healthy Choice "Lemon Pepper Fish" meal: Breaded White Fish with Whole Grain Rice Pilaf, Broccoli & Caramel Apple Dessert and iced water. Second dessert of the last of the chocolate pudding I have been working on evenings for the past 3 days...

Breakfast:  I needed an excuse to use one of my cast iron fry pans, so I cooked
  • two slices of well fried bacon
  • two eggs over easy
  • a slice of sour dough bread with mayo for the bacon
  • another slice of sour dough bread with peanut butter and grape jelly and
  • coffee!
Lunch: We wanted to go out for "Mex" but the "Mexican" place we went to was closed. So, we went to "Bad Habits Bar and Grill" and I had:
  • salad with Thousand Island Dressing
  • chicken fried steak with white gravy
  • homemade, hand cut, french fries (quite good) and
  • two glasses of "Diet Pepsi"
Dinner: The left overs from the other day:
  • the other half sirloin steak
  • much of the remaining baked potatoe (it didn't taste so great warmed up in the microwave oven)
  • one of the rolls
  • water, iced
  • a small amount of chocolate pudding and milk

Breakfast: we went to the Inn Pancake House and ordered off the menu. I had:
  • two eggs over medium
  • well cooked bacon
  • hash browns
  • whole wheat toast with grape jelly
  • and a lot of coffee!
Lunch: two hot dogs and a bowl of Healthy Choice chicken and rice soup
 
Dinner: a Healthy Choice meatloaf meal with iced water and then some chocolate pudding

Breakfast:  oatmeal and about a third of a peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich with coffee
 
Snack: the rest of the PB & GJ sandwich and a Pepsi Zero.
 
Lunch: with Kathie, a Healthy Choice and water
 
Dinner: went to Montana Mikes and I had:
  • salad with Thousand Island dressing
  • about half of a sirloin steak
  • about half of a large baked potatoe
  • a couple of rolls with butter
  • iced water
I took the left overs home with me and will probably lunch on them Sunday...
 
Snack at home; g-n-t whilst watching the latest episode of "Merlon" (which was excellent!)

Breakfast: homemade SOS on mashed potatoes and coffee
 
Lunch: at Casey's Cowtown where I had a bowl of potatoe soup and cheeze sandwich and water
 
Snack: (after giving blood): a taco salad, chips, bag of animal cookers, little can of orange juice, glass of coffee and two cups of coffee
 
Dinner: a Healthy Choice "Cajun" chicken and scrimp and rice and drank water
 
My dinner of last night did not stay down but my dinner tonight did...

Breakfast: from Burger King, their SOS, tater tots and coffee.
 
Lunch: a Healthy Choice meatloaf meal with meatloaf, mashed potatoes and brown gravy and corn with a bottle of Diet Pepsi.
 
Dinner: home made speghetti sauce over noodles, garlic bread and a beer (MDG).
 
Sadly, something upset my stomach (perhaps the grease I couldn't remove from the hamberger) and dinner came back up about a half hour after I went to bed. Tomorrow night, I will have Healthy Choice for the evening meal!

Breakfast: cheerios and coffee
 
Lunch: 3 left over rolls from Sunday and then, at McDonald's, chicken chunks, fries and a medium "Diet Coke"
 
Dinner: at Applebys,
  • "French Onion Soup" (the cheese was not melted),
  • fajitas with steak, chicken, saunaed onions, peppers and sour creamme
There was something in this that was very spicy and had me up about 1:35 am with severe indigestion. I tied Maalox and that worked...

Breakfast: at the Salina Ramada Inn where I had oatmeal, toast with peanut butter and grape jelly and coffee

This was the last day (morning actually) of the 2012 Lions Mid-Winter Ralley. The current CC (Council Chair) runs a very tight meeting and I like that a lot!)

Lunch: at the Great Bend Kansas Montana Mikes where I had

  • salad with Thousand Island Dressing
  • 3 pork chops (I took one home for breakfast on Tuesday)
  • a largish baked potatoe (half of which I also took home for Tuesday)
  • "Diet Pepsi"

Dinner: Healthy Choice meatloaf meal and a beer (MDG)

Breakfast: at the Ramada, I had  oatmeal and a couple (well 3) donuts and coffee

A couple of hours after breakfast, I had my blood sugar tested at the Kansas Lions Screening Van and came in at 241! Shit! This is the highest my blood has b een in a long time!

Lunch: some "Mexican" or hamburger, cheese and sour creamme on a soft taco shell and coffee,.

Snack: A strawberry Dacheria and a gin-n-tonic

Dinner: This was the main meal of the Kansas Lions Mid-Winter Rally. We had:
  • salad with some kind of yogurt dressing
  • stuffed pork chop
  • scalloped potatoes
  • green beans (which I never touch unless I were very, very hungry)
  • a chocolate creamme in pastry shell for desert
  • decaf coffee
This was also a celebration of Ed and Linda McCormick 50th Anniversary.  I had a slice of white cake with white frosting.

I had a couple of beers before dinner. Then, a couple of hours after going to bed, dinner came back up for review. I really wished I had "Pink" (Pepito Bismo),

Dinner: left over boiled beef, a fresh and large baked potatoe, two fresh ears of corn on the cob, water and a couple of Oreo cookies as desert after I checked my blood sugar (154)

Breakfast: a small amount of cheriors and then two stripes of bacon, two fired eggs and two slices of toast. I had 2 glasses of orange juice and 2 cups of coffee...
 
Lunch: at Casey's Cowtown: a bowl of potatoe soup, a cheese sandwich and iced water
 
Dinner: chunk of well boiled roast beef, two ears of corn, a bag of Cheeze-Its, some mini Oreos and iced water

  • bacon from Kerby's
  • scrambled eggs
  • Serri Lee coffee cake
  • coffee...
________Lunch:  leftover steak and bake4d potatoe from the other day and water

_______Dinner:  We went to a fund raiser at the VFW for a friend with a problem pregnancy. We had chili (which I didn't eat much of since it had a lot of beans and I don't like beans) and two deserts.


I ended up with diaherra the next morning so I have to wonder if it was the chilli or the piece of home made bacon jerky that did me in...


After we got home, I had a peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich.


I think it is a shame that a young couple should need a fund raiser for medical problems. This is a good example of how certain politicians are so out of touch with reality they can not comprehend folks like this young lady and her husband.
