Lunch: A big slice of my Quich and a can of D.P.
Dinner: Baked chicken, rice pilof and water.
People think that what they eat daily will always be remembered as normal, yet this isn't true. Someday, my descendants might be amused or appalled at what I eat...
Lunch: A big slice of my Quich and a can of D.P.
Dinner: Baked chicken, rice pilof and water.
Lunch: From Wendys, a "Baconator" (3 hamberger paddies, two layers of cheese, bacon) and a baked potatoe with butter and sour creamme and a medium "Diet Coke".
Dinner: A chicken salad from Sonic and a glass of water.
Pre-Bed Snack:
Lunch: Hamberger, fries and a Diet Pepsi.
Dinner: Great Lazanna, several slices of garlic bread and a piece of great desert: graham cracker crumb at the base, some kind of custer, choclate pudding and then whipped creamme. It was all very well done and was served to us by the Plains Lions Club; we were guests and Kathie gave a speech.
Pre-Bed Snack: A gin-n-tonic
When I got to the checkout place, I handed the sales girl a $10; the bill was $847.
The girlglaredstared at me.
I said "I gave you a 10".
"Do you have the 47 cents?"
"No" Actually, I may have but she pised me off....
She then handed me the food.
Lunch: French Dip (without cheese), French Fries and two "Diet Pepsis" (which didn't taste too horribly of that hidious drink "Dr. Pooper Pepper...)
Dinner: We went to the Spearville Kansas Lions club where I had
The Lions each had a bottle or two of some cheap beer but since neither my wife or I were offered any, we didn't ask for any...
Pre-Bed Snack: A gin-n-tonic
Less than two hours after I went to bed, I awoke feeling like I seriously needed to voimit so I went to the hall bathroom and did so. I'm beginning to see a correlation between eatting a greasy meat dinner and then drinking a gin-n-tonic later. Howerver, this is probably a spurious correlation becasue the grease should have dripped onto the barby fire. Also, I violated Chuck's (Dr. Chuck Doswell) diatribe on "spurious correlations"
Lunch: A Healthy Choice® Cafe Steamers™ Cajun Style Chicken & Scrimp (Chicken Breast & Scrimp With Rice & Vegetables In Cajun Style Sauce) and a can of D.P.
Dinner: I fried bacon as part of the Bisquit Quich I'm taking to work tomorrow. So, I had two eggs fried in the bacon fat, some overcooked bacon, a couple of slices of toasted sour dough bread and a MDG. Not one of my better cooked meals...
Lunch: Left over stew (soup actually...) from last night and a can of D.P.
Dinner: One of McDonald's God Awful salads! The one with the horrible breaded chicken and the wretched salad dressing (the white crap). The chicken by itself is nearly inedible and if I don't give it to my dog, I'll have to cook it in something like tomatoe sauce to make it edible! I made the mistake of putting their "Ranch Dressing" (I think it was) on the salad. The veggies and lettuce, by themselves, are edible.
My real meal was a slice of sour dough bread with peanut butter...
I ended up vomiting a couple of hours after going to bed. I guess the grease in the one little piece I ate did me in. Either that or my digestion is going bad. That happened to my youngest brother last year...
Snack: A South Beach Diet™ All American Breakfast Wrap and coffee...
Snack #2: A bag of cheese crackers and a can of D.P.
I swear I'll buy pieces of fruit when I go shopping this afternoon...Lunch: A small hamberger on a hoagy bun and a can of D.P.
Lunch: A rather large hamberger patty cooked with onion flakes on it and a smallish bag of chips plus a can of D.P.
Desert: Six small Oreo cookies (I'll have to bring fruit for tomorrow...)
Dinner: A "Hoogie" made with well fried thin sliced steak (catsup and mustard of course), a second such samwhich on whole wheat bread, large bowl of Campbell's Tomatoe soup with oyster crackers and a bottle of MDG. It tasted real good going down but not so good when it came back up two hours after I went to bed.
This was the second evening in a row where I've awaken and vomited after eatting something with too much fat in it. I'm writing this a 6:45 am on the 22nd. I wonder how my body will handle the stew I'm planning on making tonight. Said stew will consist of:
Well, tonight (this written from the perspective of it actually being the 22nd) will reveal if I've gotten a Vomet-fecta -er- Trifecta going. I hope not...
Lunch:
Dinner:
Pre-Bed Snack:
Lunch: At the Coldwster Lions Club: Deep Fat Fried chicken breast and a wing, mashed potatoes and white gravy, a roll and butter and two cans of D.P. Oh, yes, cheese cake (a very small piece) for desert.
Dinner: Hamberger and an attempt at homemade "Mexican Meatball Soup":
Pre-Bed Snack: A glass of gin-n-tonic...
Lunch: Two ears of corn on the cob and some rice plus (what else?) a can of D.P. or two.
Dinner: Healthy Choice® Cafe Steamers Grilled White Meat Chicken & Roasted Red Pepper Alfredo Sauce With Linguini Pasta & Broccoli Florets, a small piece of choclate and a can of D.P.
Snack at work: I took a couple of anti-pain pills for the ankle and had to eat something so I ate some Oreo cookies. They were nicely sweet so manybe I simply was responding to what amounts to low blood sugar in me...
Maybe I just felt like doing something bad-for-me by way of a "comfort food".
Speaking of "comfort", I think I'll try starting to work out next week. I'll have to join the workout centre (Sheridan Center) again.
Here is the time line since I whacked (broke) my foot on 13 June 2007:
Time I spent on crutches without putting pressure on my left foot

23 24 25 26 27 28 29 24th Day I was cleared to "put
30 a little weight" on my left foot...
Lunch: At Casey's Cowtown: A salad with lots of ham, chicken, chopped tomatoes and some bacon. Plus, two glasses of "Diet Pepsi".
Dinner: At Montana Mike's: 16 oz Ribeye steak (I had to slice off some fat and took maybe a fifth home in a box), "fully loaded" baked potatoe (took part home), most of a large roll (took remnants home - there seems to be a pattern forming up here?) and two glasses of ice water. (Kathie had a drink so I was the DD - Designated Driver)...
Then, we split a "Mudslide". This is a desert we tried getting before but they were out of ice creamme! Anyway, the desert was a brownie in a large beer stein, sitting over a largeish scooup of vinelli ice creamme, fudge sauce over the whole thing, whipped creamme and some kind of nuts (peacans?). They left off the cherry. (no big loss but we did pay for it!)
I will never order this again!
The brownie was dried out and the edges were hard. It was like something that had been sitting in the kitchen for a couple of days before they hacked off a chunk/slice for us.
Lunch: Burger King Angus burger, fries and a medium "Diet Coke..."
Dinner: A diet dinner of broccoli, cheese and potatoes plus a glass of water. Afterwards, a slice of whole wheat bread with peanut butter.
Pre-Bed Snack: gin-and-tonic...
The smallest person at the table got a steak about twice (or perhaps 1 ½ ) times the size of mine. I was pissed off this happned! I did eat the desert that was at the unoccupied seat…
True desert: I had a couple of gin-and-tonics at the hotel bar whilst we (Kathie and I) chatted with two other couples and then a fellow Lion from Chicago. It was a lot of fun….
Lunch: Cold cut samwhichs of ham and beef, over spiced cole slau, water and ice tea.
Pre-dinner: I had a glass of some kind of German lager at the AmWay Hotel bar. It was nice but dissauged me from order alcohol (C2H5OH) at TGIF…
Dinner: At TGIF:
I really thought the ice creamme was going to be free until I got the bill…
Post Dinner: two gin-n-tonics at the hotel at half price...
Lunch: At Casey's Cowtown: Chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, a roll and butter and a couple of glasses of "Diet Pepsi".
Dinner:
Lunch: Healthy Choice® Cafe Steamers™ Grilled White Meat Chicken & Roasted Red Pepper Alfredo Sauce With Linguini Pasta & Broccoli Florets and a can of D.
DInner: Applebys for "Fish and Chips": Some kind of breaded fish, french fries (they appologized for being out of "chips"), cole slau and a couple of glasses of "Diet Pepsi". We split a choclate desert that consisted of:I remembered (actually Kathie reminded me) to take my pills when I got home so the score of 182 (182?) two hours after finishing dinner didn't really come as a surprise...
Lunch:
Dinner:
Pre-Bed Snack:
Lunch: Nachoehs with cheese at the 2-plex theatre.
Dinner: Store bought lazanna and an MGD.
Lunch: POtatoes, sour kraut and (big mistake) a can of Tuan Fish and a can of D.P.
Dinner: At Boot Hill: Roast BBQ roast beef, sausage, potatoe salad, cole slau, a bottlke of Diet Pepsi and an ovberpriced 12 oz glass of "Bud Light". Truly, a beer in name only...
Pre-Bed Snack:
The sodium wasn't too horrible and I was soooooo tired of eatting good for me that I couldn't resist.
I should have!
My 2 hours past eatting blood sugar reading was on the rediculous side!
