Breakfast: Cheerios and coffee

Snack: small amount of left over stew and a can of Pepsi One.

Lunch: at Applebys for:

  • French Onion Soup
  • 12 oz sirloin steak
  • garlic mashed potatoes
  • veggies (carrots and broccoli)
  • two glasses of an unusual but good beer
Problems with the lunch:
  1. My French Onion Soup had excellent broth but French Onion Soup is supposed to feature a large chunk of toasted "French Bread" with the cheese melted on it. There was no "French Bread". The waiter took this back and did not charge me for the soup.
  2. The bottom slice of bread on Kathie's Ruben was soaked through. By the time she was ready to eat the 2nd half, the top slice of bread was also soaked through. The cook is supposed to drain the juice off the sauerkraut and the cook either didn't drain the juice or did a poor job of draining. We were told the cook was a trainee; this trainee should have been much better supervised!
Dinner: boiled spaghetti noodles with microwave warmed up tomatoe sauce and a bottle of LandShark. It was pseudo-spaghetti but I was hungry and it went down easy enough...
