Breakfast: last of the left over homemade stew and slice of sour dough bread with peanut butter and grape jelly.

Lunch: at the VA Hospital in Wichuita for
  • Incredibly tough roast beef
  • Fine mashed potatoes
  • Incipit brown gravy
  • Bottle of Diet Coke
Snack: we stayed at the DoubleTree (by Hilton) at the Wichita Airport and they give our fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. These are very good… 

Dinner: at the Legends Restaurant in the DoubleTree for:
  • Excellent bowl of French Onion soup
  • 12 oz rib eye steak
  • Baked potatoe
  • Veggies
  • Two slices of hard crusted bread (quite good!)
  • Two beers: Sam Adams Harvest Lagger and a Stella Atwas
I ate the soup, steak and baked potatoe and some of the veggies. 

We went to the bar and as I had been feeling too stuffed to have desert, I didn’t ask for anything. The bartender decided to spare me the embarrassment of apparently not being able to drink alcohol so he gave me a glass of ice water.

This looked a lot like how I like my gin and tonic.
