Breakfast: Creamme of wheat, three slices of sour dough toast and a can of D.P. (plus a cup of coffee...)

Lunch: Big bowl of chicken noodle soup and a small bowl of tapioka (I had forgotten just how sweet this shit is as I haven't eatten any in well over a year...) and what else?, a can of D.P.

Dinner: Healthy Choice Beef Pot Roast with Gravy, Carrots, Roasted Potatoes and Apple Raisin Crisp and a can of D.P.

Pre-bedtime snack: some rice pilof and a small glass of the white wine I used to like so much...when did it suddently turn so sweet???

Breakfast: Left over roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy and a can of D.P.

Snack: Slice of "French" bread, toasted in the over and a can of D.P.

Lunch: An Arby's French Dip Samwhich with "French" Fries and a glass of "Diet Pepsi".

Pre-dinner snack: About half of a paper coffee cup of homemade ice cream with a little fudge topping (about 1 teaspoon).

Then, finally, something good for me:

Dinner: Healthy Choice Grilled White Meat Chicen In Roasted Red Pepper Alfredo sauce Over Linguini pasta and Broccoli Florets and a can of D.P.

Post Dinner (and at work to boot): A small bag of Fretos and some crackers. I've got the munchies...

Dinner: Roast beef and mashyed potatoes and a glass of water.

Dinner: Montana Mike's 22 oz steak (I took about half home), "loaded" baked potatoe, small salad with French Dressing, a roll and and two glasses of "Diet Pepsi".

Breakfast: SOS on bisquits (from the Knights of Columbus fund raiser day before yesterday), a can of D.P. and a cup of coffee or two.

Lunch: left over chicken and I made a homemade gravy and put it over the leftover seasoned hamberger from this past weekend. That and a couple of cans of D.P.

Dinner: I was feeling so full from lunch that I had a large slice of bread with peanut butter on it. This turned out to be a mistake! My blood sugar reading two hours later (well, an hour and 51 minutes later) was 170. 170! This is simply ridicuous! After I went to bed, I woke up feeling hungry and told myself "Too damn bad!. I did have a very small piece of bread before I went to bed...

Breakfast: Several pancakes, sausage and coffee. I brought a can of D.P. from home. This was the morning event of the 2007 Lions Feast and I was making pancake batter...

Lunch: Didn't really have a lunch. I just had more sausage paddies.

Dinner: We had a salad and water. I had to get up for the 4 am shift the next morning so I couldn't have caffine and had to take it easy with dinner...

Breakfast: From Burger King, SOS on bisquits, their tater-tot-like potatoe things, a can of D.P. and a couple of cups of coffee. My wife had asked me to get her breakfast since I had to get up early anyway...

Lunch: At "Kates": We split a very large appetizer: notchols with shredded cheese and beans (their "small"!), four big pieces of deep fried chicken, the largest amount of home fries I've seen in years (I hope they were cooked in veggie oil!) and a glass of "Diet Pepsi". The prices were quite "reasonable" (i.e. low). A glass of "Diet Pepsi" was $1.25 and a refill 90¢ but the waitress only came around to take our orders and dropped off the check with the meal.

She wasn't looking for a large tip, I guess and obviously thought that trying to sell me a refill wasn't cost effective. That and the fact this old fart stood next to our table (he was in a line to leave) and fumagated the air with his cigarette were my only bitches about the place. The food was worth it and I hope those "heros" (yup,
irony) on the City Counsel get around to banning smoking in restaurants real soon now!

Afternoon snack: I made some choclate pudding from an old cook book; it was fine but not to modern tastes. I won't make it again...

Dinner: Several pieces of sausage, three pancakes with butter and diabetic syrup and a can of D.P. Then, when I tested my blood sugar 2 hours after finishing dinner, it was 170! This was a lot higher than I had expected...

Breakfast: Egg/cheese/onion omelet, hash brown potatoes with SOS, biscuit with grape jelly and coffee...

Lunch: Sonic for a hamburger (with mustard), fries and a medium "Diet Coke". I asked the "girl" if she had put ketchup in the bag and she said "yes, I did". She put in exactly one (1) bag! I guess, in the future, I should bring a bottle of ketchup with me...

Dinner: Steak and baked potatoe and a bottle of "Mic". I guess neither of us were very hungry because we put about a quarter of our stakes in the refer.

Post-Dinner: A couple of chocolate chip cookies and some crackers and I went to bed early.

Breakfast: Aunt Jemima pancakes and sausage, a can of DP and this after eatting the last little slice of Quich from day before yesterday.

Lunch: Casey's Hamburger with Bacon, fries and 2 glasses of "D.P.".

Snack: Glass of Diet Coke.

Dinner: Spaghetti and meatballs, ice creamme filled cake and "Diet Pepsi". This was at a nice Italian Restraunt in Salina Kansas.

Garbage Day or 10 January 2007

Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes with syrup and whipped creamme, orange juice, sour creamme coffee cake and coffee (and a can of D.P.)

Lunch: At Casey's Cowtown: Chicken Fried Chicken with white gravy, mashed potatoes with white gravy, corn, roll with "butter" and a couple of glasses of "Diet Pepsi".

Dinner: Half a medium pizza and a can of Foster's Lager (the oil can size). Then, a small glass of gin and tonic (mainly to see why Kathie likes the taste of the fancy, expensive, gin I bought her at Christmas) and a big ass slice of coffee cake.

Something I ate had my stomach roiling about 1:15 am and I took Pink (Pepto Bismol). That lead to decreased discomfort and also lead to the sympthoms that usually results in my vomiting but I got lucky and this didn't happen...

Breakfast: Bran flakes, 2% milk, toast and butter and a can of D.P. and a cup of coffee.


Lunch: Quich {sp} and a couple of cans of D.P. (and I should have had Pepto Bismo!)




4 eggs

2 cups of 2% milk

1 cup Bisquit {sp}

2 cups of sharp Cheddar cheese

1 - 11/2 cups of meat. I think I had a bit more ham than that...

Bake at 350 F for about 50 minutes. I exceeded this by several minutes.

Pre-bed: A cup of sugar-free apple sauce.

Lunch: Quizos: half of a regular beef briskey sub (I literally wasn't hungry enough to eat a full one), bag of chips, large glass of "Diet Pepsi".

Dinner: At "Montano Mike's": About 2/3s of a 1 pound "KC Strip Steak", the contents of a "fully loaded" baked potatoe, large roll and a glass and then part of a second glass of "Diet Pepsi"...

Post blood sugar testing: A bottle of Mic Lager (not that God Awful "Mic Ultra" or anything with the words "lite" or "light" attached to it...

Breakfast: Aunt Jemima Great Start® Meal Pancakes & Sausage plus some coffee and a can of D.P...

Lunch: (I splurged and had something I used to eat as a teenager and haven't eatten in decades:
  1. McDonald's Quarter pounder (no cheese)
  2. McDonald's fries
  3. McDonald's "Medium" shake
All of this was a big mistake!

The hamberger and fries were very bland and it was only the katchup that gave tbem any flavour and the "milk shake" could not have had much (if any) "milk" in it. I drank slurped it down and didn't get the "lactose intolorance" upset stomach I get from the volumn of milk that should have been in the "milk shake". It was probably some kind of veggie sludge and good for me!

The "choclate" "milk shake" didn't taste much like choclate any way...


Dinner: Dillions' salad with cheese and too much "baked" chicken stripes and a glass of water. I also had a chunk of sour dough bread with peanut butter on it.
