30 March 2007

Breakfast: Two bacon, egg and cheese crosaunts, a can of D.P. and some coffee

Lunch: Hamburger, fries and a “medium” glass of “Diet Coke” at the “Dog and Shake” in Wichita, Kansas.

Post Lunch
: About an hour after eating I got fairly sick to my stomach; I felt better after vomiting…

Dinner: At the “Hometown Buffet” in Wichita, Kansas: A large salad and a small bowl of chicken noodle soup, two (2) slices of well done roast beef (cut from a big chunk of dead steer!), mashed potatoes and brown gravy (this main course was execellant!) and a fine chunk of chocolate cake with vinalli ice creamme over it.

All together, a fine meal!

A fine meal and I ate way too muchalas.

I guess I'm still a hard core trencherman (first definition) alas...

Breakfast: Those South Beach breakfast wraps and a can of D.P. (plus the ulbiquous coffee...)

Lunch: Healthy Choice® Grilled Chicken Marinara Chicken Breast & Pasta In Marinary Sauce / Broccoli Florets and a can of D.P. (I've had way too much coffee to even thing of drinking some!)

Dinner: Dinner: Sirloin steak mariaded in my Father’s Marianade, boiled broccoli flowers and boiled carrots, a bottle of MGD (Miller Guinine Draft beer) and a gin-and-tonic.

28 March 2007

Breakfast: Left over beef stew and a can of D.P.

Lunch: A Double burger at Wendy's, a baked potatoe with sour creamme and butter and chives and a glass of "Diet Pepsi".

Dinner: Pan fried fish, a little bit of baked tuna filet, boiled broccoli flowers and boiled carrots, a baked potatoe with sour creamme and margarine. Also, a glass of watger. (I had a good 2-hours past eatting score of 124 and I ascribe that to the veggies and fish; the potatoe did "compete".)

When did it go bad?

It's 5:56 am and I'm watching the History Channel as I blog (sound off to avoid waking the family). I can't help but notice how thin everyone was in the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s!

I can recall when losing five (5!) pounds was the great quest. Now, for me, losing fifty (50!) pounds is my desperate quest.

What led us to go from a nation of physically active and (relatively) skinny people to the blobs we are today? What lead us to the point where an ordinary looking slender girl became the exceptional beauty? I say "ordinary" because such slenderness was the norm 50, 60, 100 years go. What caused us to slide into blobbiness?

Could it have been the easy availability of high calorie food?

Could it have been the greed of "big business" and it's desire to make a profit regardless of the costs?

I think the first was a response to the second. I think the rest of the world is taking up our "darker values" and will quickly emulate us. I wonder how many years it will take before the Chinese and Indian children will look as overweight as ours?

Probably not very long...

Already, the type two diabetes is spreading out globally.

(I've got the closed captioning on and am reading comments from survivors of some of the bloodiest of the Civil War Battles; it was horrific and the generals must have been either mad or so very unimaginative when they sent their troops out in sword fighting ranks to fight with long distance killing weapons: rifles!)

27 March 2007

Pre-breakfast: A small piece of left over hamburger (cooked on the grill!), cooked in a homemade "white sauce". Said "white sauce" had way too much corn starch in it and turned into a paste. This "paste", mixed with hamburger and a small piece of chunked up sour dough bread was almost too bland for me. An experiment that failed! I should have eaten the hamburger with ketchup on it...

Oh, yes, I also drank a can of D.P. with it. Got to get my vitamin caffeine!

Breakfast: Burger King bacon-cheese burrito, a small order of their potatoe thingies and a big cup of fairly bad coffee (plus a can of D.P. since the coffee reminded me of 4 am coffee at work...)
I really wanted to give links to the Burger King webpage for each of these items but either I simply could not fathom their webpage series or it is incompetently presented or Burger King is far more interest in enticing investors than they are in helping one figure out their menu...

26 March 2007

Breakfast: Aunt Jemima pancakdes and sausage and coffee.

Lunch: McDonald's club salad (I think it was...), with their Ranch Dressing. If I were to eat this twice a day, I would surely lose weight (and any excess money I might have!). There is something about this salad that has be suddenly nausiated about half way through eatting it. It has become a test of will to finish these salads (and I almost never do these days...)

Snack: Small piece of left over roasted beef and some of the potatoes and a can of D.P. At least it settled my stomach after that oh-so-wonderful lunch!

Dinner:
Fired up the new grill and cooked hamberger on it. For dinner, this hamberger on buns, some cole saugh and potatoe salad and a can of D.P. I gave into temptation and had a gin-and-and tonic and then a second one for desert.

I later regreted them...

24 March 2007 (version 2)

Breakfast: At a local place: 2 eggs over medium, 2 pork chops, hash browns, two slices of whole wheat toast with grape jelly and several cups of decent coffee...

Lunch:
Kathie's Mexican: One of those big, flat, pancake like things with mashed up refried beans, seasoned hamburger, sliced up extra sharp Tillamook Cheddar cheese and mild "shredded yellow cheese" (nuked in the microwave) and then covered with lettuce, low fat sour creamme, some sliced tomotoe (on the first one) and a package of Taco Hell's Bell's mild sauce (on versions one and two...). Plus, a can of Diet Pepsi with each of these and then I had a little salad: the left over lettuse, some sliced cheese, a bit of the meat and low-fat Thousand Island Dressing.

A couple of hours later, I needed a couple of slugs of P I N K!

I also drank a large glass of water before and after the P I N K and that seemed to help the heart burn.

Dinner: Healthy Choice® Beef Pot Roast With Gravy / Apple Cranberry Crisp / Carrots / Roasted Potatoes and a can of D.P.

When is 34 mg/dL bad?

When is 34 mg/dL bad?

It was late evening (around 9:38 pm) on 23 March 2007 when it was time to test my blood sugar. I punctured my left forearm but must have left the needle against my skin too long. I got a smear of blood instead of a little drop. I made a second puncture. In both cases, I wiped the "smear" of blood off my arm and tried squeezing out a drop. At the second "hole", I sampled my blood. It didn't take; that is, the meter didn't recognize the "blood offering". I tried again (on the other side of the test strip) and this time the meter gave me the "working" response.

The result was good.

Too damn good: 34!

At this level, I should have been unconscious and I obviously was not!

The test strip had to be bad, very bad. I made a third hole and used a second test strip and got the far more reasonable result of 116!

Now, I wonder if the recent reading of 77 was due largely in part to a bad test strip?

Must I wonder if "good news" is really just bad news and not my having "done well" on the food, etc?

22 March 2007

Breakfast: South Beach Diet Breakfast Wraps "All American", a can of D.P. and too much coffee...(an editorial remark about the coffee but hey! I Are The Editor!)

Snack: Toast with peanut butter and a few chunks of Tillamook Cheddar Cheese (a nice thing about this cheese is the extra sharp always tastes good and it doesn't get moldy in the fridge)

Wednesday, March 21, 2007

21 March 2007

Breakfast: Left over bacon and left over pork chop on a chunk of sour dough bread and a South Beach Breakfast Wrap...

Lunch: At Casey's Cowtown: Large Hamberger, fries, two glasses of "Diet Pepsi" (which tasted very excellent so I must have been very thirsty!) and two glasses of ice water.

I had gone for a fast 1/2 hour walk before Lions and had gotten fairly thirsty. I'm not physically acclimated to walking in temps in the upper 70s!

Dinner: Healthy Choice ® Grilled White Meat Chicken In Roasted Red Pepper Alfredo Sauce Over Linguini Pasta/ Broccoli Florets and a can of D.P...

Breakfast: South Beach Diet Breakfast Wraps "All American"

Snack: A couple of "Little Debby" sugar coated mini-doughnuts and a gin-and-tonic...

Sunday, March 18, 2007

18 March 2007

Breakfast: At the Leisure Hotel in Ulysses Kansas: A couple of donuts, two slices of whole wheat toast, glass of orange juice and a couple of cups of coffee.

Lunch: At the “Rat” (“KFC” actually): Two piece (breast and wing), scoop of mashed potatoes and brown gravy, a third of an ear of corn, a biscuit and honey and a glass of “Diet Pepsi”.

A couple of dark choclate truffles, a can of D.P. and a cup of coffee...

Saturday, March 17, 2007

17 March 2007

Breakfast: After yesterday’s lunch, none of us wanted to pay for breakfast at the Peddler’s Inn: I had several glasses of orange juice (and got my butt chewed for this later when I accidentally admitted this to a Diabetes Group Member), picked up a box of “mini shredded wheat”. It turned out to be sugar coated min-shredded wheat. I didn’t eat much since it was stale… I had a couple of slices of white bread toast and some coffee…

Lunch: Catered: It was lasagna, salad and garlic bread. I had ice water.
I had some chips and meat snacks and slices of orange and when the Member of the Local Diabetes Support Group wasn't looking, a couple of "donut holes"...
Dinner: Also catered:
  1. Salad, 8 oz prime rib,
  2. little potatoes,
  3. a “salad” of raw broccoli flowers and Kali flower –er- cauliflower,
  4. a roll and
  5. (from their “bar”) an MGD (Miller Guinine Draft) beer. The beer was fine but the bar was the worst of a small town bar: the bar “maid” was surly (perhaps snippy is a better word?), the beer and my wife’s two “White Zins” seemed overpriced and the men lined up at the bar all seemed like locals handling their Saturday evening by drinking “with the boys” and ordering off the menu.

There was a problem with the meal: We had a choice of “Chicken Cordon Blue” or “Prime Rib”. I’m certain we ordered the “Prime Rib” because you know what to expect and can never be sure what “Chicken Cordon Blue” will have in it…

Six of our brother/sister Lions (or spouses) claimed “Prime Rib” when they had pre-ordered “Chicken Cordon Blue” and Lion Denny will have to “hunt down” those Lions who took steak and make them pay for the steaks. It seemed the caters had to scramble for extra “Prime Rib”, cook it and present it…

16 March 2007

Breakfast: Oatmeal and coffee.

Lunch: At the Peddler’s Inn Restaurant in Ulysses, Kansas:

Chicken Breast and a Chicken wing (I like my chicken well cooked but this was well beyond what I call “well cooked”; this was quite dry)

Two fish sticks, also well cooked and very dry (this reminded me of why I quite eating fish sticks when I left home in 1970…)

Baked potatoe that was not overcooked! (Call me strange but I like my baked potatoes a bit soft!)

Scoop of mashed potatoes (with way too much “milk” used in the making of it!)
Salad

Overly sweet apple cobbler (but I liked it...)

Two glasses of what was actually “Diet Pepsi” (something I don’t think I could say of the “Diet Pepsi” I have in Dodge City…
Dinner: This was catered: We had bar-b-queue roast beef and Italian sausage, baked beans (which I disdain!), potatoe salad and cole slaw and water.
I was supposed to test my blood two hours after dinner but left the house in a hurry and left my blood sugar meter, sun glasses, both books I wanted to read and a couple of floppy disks on a TV tray in the living room. So, I'll have to "test" on Sunday, after we get back home...

Thursday, March 15, 2007

15 March 2007

Breakfast: Aunt Jemami pancakes and sausage, a can of D.P. and coffee...

Lunch: At the Central Station Club and Grill (formerly the "Freighthouse"). We split an order of onion rings. These were good but not as good as Montana Mike's or Appleby's and just under Casey's Cowtown in quality. (Perhaps even on a par with Mike Caseys.) My main course was a hamberger with crisp bacon and fries. Only one of the three slices of bacon was crisp by my definition of "crispy", however. The hamberger was the best I've had in a long time and the fries had the appearance and taste of homemade. It was clear they were made from potatoes and not mashed potatoes and etc. I drank a couple of glasses of fountain "Diet Pepsi" that was up to par...

Dinner: South Beach Diet (Asian Inspired) Orange Beef (Beef Slices & Brown Rice In Orange Sauce With Broccoli, Bamboo Shoots, & Carrots) and a can of D.P.

Wednesday, March 14, 2007

14 March 2007

Breakfast: Aunt Jemima pancakes and sausage, a can of D.P. and a cup of coffee.

Meeting Snack: A couple of donuts...

Lunch: At Casey's Cowtown: Chicken Fried Chicken with white gravy, mashed potatoes with white gravy, corn, a roll and a little bit of butter and soft drinks. The first soft drink tasted like Diet Pepsi and then it tasted like (uggg!) Dr. Pepper. The second soft drink actually tasted like "Diet Pepsi" (i.e. the fountain DP...)

Snack: Some choclate at home, a low cal ice cramme bar and a couple of donuts at work. (The more I worry about the A1C test on Wednesday, 23 May, the more I get the munchies...)

Dinner: Healthy Choice® Beef Pot Roast With Gravy/ Apple Cranberry Crisp/ Carrots/ Roasted Potatoes and a can of D.P.

Snack: Bag of popcorn and a bit of dark chocklate (Especresso). I'm not a new fan...

Pre-bed snack: A couple of slices of sour dough bread with peanut butter (not Penis Peter Pan!)

Tuesday, March 13, 2007

13 March 2007

Breakfast: Three scrambled eggs with Tilamook Cheddar Cheese (extra shart), two slices of sour dough toast and coffee.

Lunch: Salad.

Dinner:
Healthy Choice® Chicken Margherita (Whtie Meat Chicken With Angel Hair Pasta & Roasted Garlic In Balsamic Vinaigrette Sauce) and a can of D.P.

My blood test of 77 was the lowest it has been in years. I wondered if it was in error but the way I feel makes me think it was accurate...

I had a small amount of my homemade ice creamme (left over from last Thursday) here at the office.

Monday, March 12, 2007

12 March 2007

Breakfast: Left overs: speghetti and noddles, a couple of chunks of roast beef and about a potatoe and a can of D.P. and a cup of coffee...

Lunch: McDonald's "club" salad and a 69¢ glass of "Diet Coke".

Dinner: A Healthy Choice® Chicken Margherita (Whtie Meat Chicken With Angel Hair Pasta & Roast3ed Garlic In Balsamic Vinaigrette Sauce) and a can of D.P.

Pre-Bed Snack: A slice of bread with catsup and a small piece of "Summer Sausage".

Sunday, March 11, 2007

11 March 2007

Breakfast: The "Hotel in Old Town" features a breakfast of cheese scrambled eggs, hash brown potatoes, slices of ham (obviously not worried about those who do Kosher - Jewish or Muslim), English muffin with grape jelly, a couple of glasses of orange juice and coffee.

Snack: At church (the Wichita Unity Church!), a cup of coffee and about a 1/5 of a Crappy Creamme donut...

Lunch: At Sam's in Wichita, I had a couple of "Kosher" hot dogs and a large glass of Diet Coke? or was it Diet Pepsi?

Dinner: A roast beef and turkey samwich{sp} and a big bowl of Kroger's tomatoe soup. I had water with dinner and a gin-and-tonic.

Saturday, March 10, 2007

10 March 2007

Breakfast: Aunt Jemima pancakes and sausage and coffee and a can of D.P.

Snack: 5 or 6 McDonald's chicken nuggets

Lunch: Olive Garden spaghetti and meatballs, salad and split a chocolate cupcake with strawberries and ice creamme based sauce. Also, a couple of glasses of "Diet Coke".

Dinner: At the Wichita "Whiskey something-or-another", their 12 oz "flatiron steak" (sirloin?), a fully loaded potato, salad and a "Sam Adams White Lager" beer. One was great but I knew that a second was be way too much!

Post Dinner: We returned to the hotel (Hotel in Old Town) and listened to the piano player. He is a better player that Patrick and actually plays his songs all the way through but the "new" piano player simply does not have Patrick's charisma and charm. Kathie and I missed spending the evening with Patrick...

I had a couple of strawberry dahrias...

09 March 2007

Breakfast: Burger King breakfast burito, medium size "tator tots" and a medium coffee.

Lunch: Arby salad and a bottle of water.

Dinner: "Papa John's" all meat pizza (½ meat) and a glass of water.

Desert: A small chunk of left over roast beef and a gin-and-tonic.

Thursday, March 08, 2007

08 March 2007

Breakfast: South Beach Diet Breakfast Wraps All American (Scrambled Egg Whites, Reduced Fat Mozzarella & Nonfat Cheddar Cheeses, Tomatoes, Smoked Turkey Bacon & Cheese Sauce In A Whole4 Wheat Tortilla) and a can of D.P. I have to confess that I was quite hungry and ate both of them; getting up at 3:15 am and then eating one at 7 am left me still too hungry and I ate the second about 7:47 am...)

Lunch: We had an office lunch: Homemade chicken/noodle soup (3 bowls) and some of my homemade ice creamme and (store bought) Fudge sauce.

Dinner: Roast beef with potatoes, carrots and onions roasted in the pan with the meat and water. I had a gin-and-tonic for "desert".

Wednesday, March 07, 2007

07 March 2007

Breakfast: South Beach Diet&trad; "Caprese Style Chicken with Broccoli, a can of D.P. and a cup or two of coffee.

Snack: Suth Beach Diet&traf; "100 Calorie Snack Bar"

Lunch: At Casey's Cowtown: Ham steak, mashed potatoes (both with white gravy), corn, roll and butter and a couple of glasses of "Diet Pepsi".

Dinner: A Quixos roast beef (of some sort) on garlic bread (which tasted way too stongly of garlic). Also, I drank a Foster's Oil Can (I had origionally thought of having water but my wife brought a can of Fosters home from the store and who am I to turn down such a kind gift?)

I was feeling kind of rough when I ate dinner but that was probably due to my nose being stuffed up and just feeling a bit under the weather lately. I think I may be coming down with a cold or more likely, I'm allergic to to the liter dust of the two litter boxes I cleaned this afternoon...

Tuesday, March 06, 2007

06 March 2007

Breakfast: South Beach Diet&trad; Breakfast Wraps All American (Scrambled Egg Whites, Reduced fat Mozzarella & nonfat Cheddar Cheeses, Tomatoes, Smoked Turkey Bacon & Cheese Sauce in a while wheat tortilla and a can of D.P. This is quite good!

Later: A banana and Cheeze-It Baked Snack Crackers...and water!

Lunch: Arby Southwest salad and part of an order of "onion pedals" plus a small glass of "Diet Pepsi".

Dinner: Three scrambled eggs and two slices of dry toast. This was to see if my high blood sugar reading of last week was due to me "feeling kind of rough" (to steal a line from "My Shit's Fucked Up" by Warren Zevon). I had been nausious that day.

My score was higher than it was last week...

Having put it off for a week or so, I finally made that homemade chocolate pudding recipe from the Diabetes Cook book. In the spirit of "Fair Usage" here it is:

I'll have to put this in later...Here is the recipe called:

"Post-Halloween Chocolate Pudding", taken from:

The ULTIMATE DIABETES COOKBOOK by Carol Gelles

  1. 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  2. 2 or 3 tablespoon sugar
  3. 2 tablespoons cocoa
  4. 2 cups milk, divided
  5. ½ cup (3 ounces) milk-chocolate pieces
1. In a 1½-quart saucepan, stir together the cornstarch, sugar, and cocoa. Stir in ½ cup of the miilk until all lumps are dissolved. Sitr in the remainding milk.

2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly (and I mean that!), about 10 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in the choclate pieces until melted.

3. Pour into 6 small bowls and cover with plastic wrap. Chill at least 2 hours.

Diabetic Exchanges: ¼ bread; 1 other carbohydrate; ¼ milk; 1¼ fat

Monday, March 05, 2007

05 March 2007

Breakfast: Souith Beach wrap and coffee and a D.P. and two banannas...

Lunch: Salad and D.P.

Dinner: Home made speghetti sauce
  1. ~2.6 lbs 90% hamberger
  2. 3 cans tomatoe sauce
  3. about ¾ cup red whine
  4. about 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  5. and shook the garlic salt
  6. and then the onion salt over it
...normally I use sliced/chopped onion and garlic from the refer but I forgot to buy an onion and didn't feel like digging through the refer for the chopped garlic...) and a couple of glasses of water.
Then, of course, after looking at the oil film the virgin olive oil left on top of the noodle water, I realized that I might be "steering the Porciline Goddess" a couple of hours after going to bed. Actually, it was closer to three hours after I got done with dinner...
I don't handle fat in food well anymore...

Sunday, March 04, 2007

04 March 2007

Pre-Breakfast Snack: An apple (or ¾ ?) of one and some water.

Breakfast: Oatmeal and a can of D.P. and a couple of cups of coffee.

Saturday, March 03, 2007

03 March 2007

Snack: A repeat of breakfast...

Lunch: Went to Montana Mike's and I had the 16 oz ribeye, "loaded" potatoe, large roll and butter and a couple of glasses of "Diet Pepsi" (and a salad with French Dressing...)

Dinner: Large salad from Dillions and a couple of glasses of water.

Friday, March 02, 2007

02 March 2007

Pre-Breakfast: Coffee about 4:15 am and then I finished off the meat and gravy from last night; I had it over a chunk of sour dough bread. I did this because:
  1. I was hungry,
  2. At 6 am and knowing breakfast wouldn't be for another hour I got tired of being hungry,
  3. I knew I would not be going to bed until about 7:15 pm (13 hours and 15 minutes...) and
  4. I really haven't seen any stray dogs around lately...
Breakfast: At the King - Burger King not Bugger King (I only call it that because the morning manager is clearly not a morning person and might be wishing she could tell us all to Bugger Off! OK, so she's not British and probably doesn't know what bugger off means...)

____What I got was: SOS, "medium" potatoe "thingies" and coffee.
What I wanted was: Bacon, egg and cheese burrito, potatoe "thingies" and an orange juice.

Well, when I ordered, the clerk told me they didn't have the tortillas (the material the burrito is wrapped in) and I noticed they didn't have orange juice...

When I got home, my wife told me that she'd gotten the wrong order. I thought I'd asked for a bacon egg and cheese cro-sandwich and I had been sold the sausage version. So, my wife declared Burger Bugger King to be off our restaurant list.

I can't argue with that!
*********************************************************************
Lunch: At Montana Mike's: A sirloin steak salad and two glasses of "Diet Pepsi". It was quite good.

I am cat sitting for a friend. I went to her house, let myself in, checked to verify her cats had plenty of good and water and then I cleaned both litter boxes. Maybe cleaning someone else's litter boxes smells far worst than cleaning mine but I started feeling ill.

Then, I decided to check up on both her cats. The male was under the bed and I couldn't find the female. I started thinking that she had gotten out of my friend's house last night. I hunted through the house several times and the stress of lying on the floor and looking under the bed began to nausiate me.

I was getting sick when I left and went to Dillions to buy dinner for tonight (a Healthy Choice meal). I got home and was fairly sick to my stomach but felt better afterwards.

I went back to her house around 4 pm and found the cats hiding under the bed...

An interesting irony is that my cats had used their litter boxes and our house stunk. I think I had come down with something and the incubation times suggests a "present" from Bugger King

Dinner: Three scrambled eggs and two slices of dry sour dough toast and water. It is family tradition for an upset stomach. I'm also curious how this will affeft my blood sugar two hours after I finished eatting.

"Post-Halloween Choclate Pudding" by Carol Gelles' "The ULTIMATE DIABETES COOKBOOK"

Here is that homemade chocolate pudding recipe from the Diabetes Cook book. In the spirit of "Fair Usage", I believe I have the right to present this:
"Post-Halloween Chocolate Pudding", taken from

The ULTIMATE DIABETES COOKBOOK

by

Carol Gelles

  1. 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  2. 2 or 3 tablespoon sugar
  3. 2 tablespoons cocoa
  4. 2 cups milk, divided

Diabetic Exchanges: ¼ bread; 1 other carbohydrate; ¼ milk; 1¼ fat

dinner 11 March 2007

Dinner: A roast beef and turkey samwich{sp} and a big bowl of Kroger's tomatoe soup. I had water with dinner and a gin-and-tonic.

01 March 2007

Breakfast: Bugger Burger King SOS, potatoe thingies, container of orange juice and coffee (several cups worth). Also a couple of squares of dark choclate.

Lunch: Club Salad at McDonald's with a large (69¢) glass of "Diet Coke"

Snack: Some squares of dark choclate with little chunks of sour dough bread.

Dinner: Kathie was at a meeting so I ate by myself. I decided to do something different: I had pre-made mashed potatoes and stewed meat from Dillions. I thought this would lead to problems later. (I also had a can of Fosters.)

I had a premonation of later trouble when I realized I didn't like the Fosters. Then, I realized that I was having to spit out pieces of fat from the stewed meat and realized that sooner- or- later I was going to throw up. I just hoped to keep it down long enough for the evening metformin to "get into my system". I went to bed shortly after 8 pm and woke up justbefore 10 pm, on my right side.

The right side is interesting. The stomack opening is on the left side of one's body so when I realized I was swolling stomach contents thenthis crap was forcing it's way "uphill".

I rolled out of bed and when my wife asked me "Is everything all right, I just said I've got to go to the bathroom. So, I finished off my roasted beef and my Fosters in my
classic style by putting my finger down my throat and vomiting about 8 times. I went back to bed and told my wife I feel fine.

I did too...

Obviously, I am writing this the morning after...

I suppose I can get rid of the left over "roasted beef" by "donating" it a stray neighborhood dog (i.e. dumping it on my lawn and seeing howlong it takes the neighborhood strays to finish it off.)

My morning fasting score was 124 and this suggests my overnight scores were much too high. So, tonight, since I have to go to bed early again, I think I'll have a "Healthy Choice"
meal! It is, after all, the Healthy Choice to make! (pun intended)

dinner 09 March 2007

Dinner: "Papa John's" all meat pizza (½ meat) and a glass of water.

Desert: A small chunk of left over roast beef and a gin-and-tonic.

dinner 17 March 2007

It seemed the caters had thuo scramble for extra “Prime Rib”, cook it and present it…

dinner 01 March 2007
