Breakfast: Kathie's big breakfast: Serri Lee coffee cake, scrambled
eggs, well cooked bacon between two slices of whole wheat toast and a can
of Zero Carb DP.

Lunch: At the Garden City Loan Star:

  • salad with 1K dressing,
  • a 14 oz sirloin steak,
  • fully loaded baked potatoe and
  • two medium glasses of DP.

Dinner:

  • Meat pizza and
  • a bottle of MGD and
  • then a glass of gin and tonic.

Later: a couple of Girl Scout short bread cookies...

Breakfast: Oatmeal and a hotdog bun with peanut butter and water.

Lunch: Plain yogurt with frozen strawberries and Splenda.

Snack: After reading to some 2nd graders at Lynn Elementary, I went to
their "thank you" snack room and had a plate full of various forms of
stewed beef, a piece of corn bread and some popcorn.

Dinner: Boston Market Meatloaf (withi homestyle mashed potatoes and
gravy) and ice water.

Breakfast: Three hard boiled eggs, mashed, placed between two slices
of whole wheat toast and garnished with low cal Mayo; I also drank water.

Lunch: At King's buffet, a lot of chicken, pork, rice and for
desert, some chocolate and vanilla ice creamme, covered with chocolate
pudding. I drank two "Diet Pepsis".

Dinner: Left over beef stew from last week (it took a long time to thaw
in the microwave), a bag of Cheeze-Its and ice water.

Breakfast: Aunt Jemima pancakes and sausage and a can of Zero Carb DP.

Lunch: At Casey's Cowtown: French dip, "French" fries and water.

Snack: Three of four little sugar coated donuts and a can of Zero Carb DP.

Dinner: Boston Market Meatloaf (with homestyle mashed potatoes & gravy)
and water. This resulted in the "big"

Breakfast: Oatmeal, a banana, slice of whole wheat bread with peanut
butter and a can of Zero Carb DP.

Snack: (after walking on the treadmill) A little bag of 4 mini dough
nuts and coffee.

Lunch: First, plain yogurt with strawberries and Splenda and later,
an open faced tuna sandwich on a slice of sour dough bread (and a can of
Zero Carb DP).

Snack: a piece of dark chocolate and later, some coffee.

Dinner: Baked boneless, skinned chicken, baked potatoe, boiled
broccoli and later (for desert) a banana.

Breakfast: Egg salad (2 eggs) samwhich on two slices of whole wheat
toast and a can of Zero Carb DP.

Lunch: Plain yogurt with strawberries and splenda.

Snack: Piece of dark choclate and the rest of the summer sausage with a
can of Zero Carb DP.

Dinner: Boiled chicken, rice and broccoli florets (broccoli left over
from last night) and water.

22 February 2009

Breakfast: Oatmeal and a slice of whole wheat bread with peanut butter
and a cup of coffee.

Lunch: Salad and a can of DP.

Dinner: Salmon, broiled broccoli and boiled rice, with water.

Snack: 2 gnt

Aftermath: Right arm cramped, both legs cramped (from exercise) and
vomiting (maybe the salad, maybe the fish...)

Lunch: turkey/ham/bacon wrap, potatoe chips and cup of coffee at "House of Jones".

Dinner: At Montana Mike's:

  1. salad with French dressing,
  2. sirloin steak,
  3. fully loaded baked potatoe and
  4. water.

Breakfast: McDonald's: two bacon egg cheese bisquits and a potatoe thingie and medium coffee.

Lunch: yogurt and strawberries and tangerines.

Dinner: homemade beef stew with

  1. stew meat,
  2. potatoe,
  3. carrots,
  4. onions,
  5. cooked in beef brouth and
  6. thickened with flour.
To help it all go down, homemade "French Bread" from a can.

Pre-Bed Snack: gin-n-tonic

  2. dark turkey, brown rice soup

Dinner: Dinner at Appleby:

  • cheese sticks
  • 12 oz ribeye steak
  • fully loaded baked potatoe
  • steamed and not too crisp broccoli florets and
  • two MGD

Dinner: Half a medium pizza and MDG; had a surprising large blood
sugar reading about two hours after starting dinner:
I suppose that forgetting to take my metformin until noon (11:46 am)
really screwed up my metabolism.

rest of last night's tomatoe soup, a chopped up brat and water.

Dinner: Large hamburger, chicken noodle soup, some potatoe chips and
water.

Breakfast: Left over chicken (from yesterday's Santa Fe Trail
Association lunch), rice with margarine and seasonings, a large apple
and water.

Snack: The rest of the chicken and a Boulder Canyon Natural Foods
("Totally Natural") Kettle Cooked Potatoe Chips.

Breakfast: At the same hotel in Hays, two little egg things on slices
of ham on a bisquit, an English muffin with peanut butter and grape
jelly and water.

Lunch: A snack before having Dillion's fried chicken, some potatoe
salad, a couple of cookies and some kind of lemon pie that I didn't
finish. Oh, and I drank water.

Dinner: A bowl of tomatoe soup with peanut butter and grape jelly on a
hot dog bun.

14 February 200.

Breakfast: At the hotel we stayed at in Hays: SOS (with pork
sausage!), two surialistic looking eggs, buffin with peanut butter and
grape jelly and coffee.

Lunch: In a large shell, some hamberger, cheese, sour creamme, all
over lettuse, some kind of desert (I've forgotten what) and water.

Dinner: Salad with French dressing, pork slices, stewed apple, baked
potatoe with butter and sour kreame, brownie for desert and water.

Lunch:

Dinner: At a place in Hays, salad with 1000 Island Dressing, steak and
loaded baked potatoe and water.

Result: Post dinner blood test of 205...well above the "just a little
high category..."

  2. steak with sautaed onions
  3. baked potatoe with lots of stuff on it
  4. ice water with a lemon in it...

Dinner: "Flat Iron" steak, baked potatoe, aspargius and a bottle of
Michelob.

Dinner: Baked salmon, baked potatoe, over cooked boiled broccoli and
water. I made the mistake of starting the broccoli too early; I like
mine cooked a little past crisp and my wife likes her's not quite
cooked. I won the "cooking contest" last night to my dismay; the
broccoli was simply too well done...

Dinner: Boston Market Roasted Pork (with gravy and garlic redskin
mashed potatoes) and water.

Breakfast: Left over roast, a little bit of left over boiled potatoes
and carrots and gravy; I drank a can of Zero Carb DP.

Lunch: Homemade mixture of plain yogurt, strawberries and a little bit
of Splenda; three little boneless skinless chicken strips and a can of
Zero Carb DP.

Snack:: I gnawed on some very stale left over French Bread and had a
couple of small pieces of dark chocolate.

Dinner: A butterflied pork chop, boiled rice left over from last
night, perhaps one carrot from the old bag (the rabbits at work get the
rest!) and water.

Snack: a 1.5 oz bag of Cheeze-It crackers.
