Breakfast: cheerios and coffee
Lunch:
at Long John Silvers for fish, chicken, Cole slaw, a small piece of
overcooked corn on the cob, little balls of something and a "Medium Diet
Pepsi"
Snack: piece of dark chocolate
Dinner: At the Boot Hill Casino Restaurant for:
- salad
- cup of tomatoe bisque (formerly known as "tomatoe soup")
- a truly excellent 9 oz piece of Prime Rib (Kathie and I both had prime rib and both thought them excellent!)
- mashed potatoes with brown gravy (I'm not in a mashed potatoe vice baked potatoe phase...)
- chocolate cake desert with scoop of vanilla ice creamme
- iced water
Snack: a gin-n-tonic
The service was reasonably fine.
The
prime rib was very tender, very nicely seasoned and cooked to
perfection. This was the best piece of steak I've had in many years!
I made a point of telling the waiter and then the
manager to congratulate the cooks on the excellent job they did on these
prime ribs!
I'm happy to say the prime rib stayed
down; normally, red meat that close to my bedtime is likely to come
back up about an hour after I go to bed.
