Breakfast: I decided to make breakfast in my smaller cast iron fry pan and had:
  • 3 sausage patties1
  • two fried and then scrambled eggs
  • 2 big cups of coffee

  • Lunch: We dropped by the North McDonalds (the South McDonalds was torn down) and I had:
    • A Quarter Pounder with only ketchup and mustard and
      • one of Kathie's hamberger patties2
    • freies and
    • a medium "Diet Coke"

    1These are sausage patties left over from the Lions Pancake feed. I got them at cost and they have been occupying a large chunk of available freezer space...

Dinner: We went to the Boot Hill Casino for their Italian Tuesday dinner:
  • Italian dressing salad
  • spaghetti cooked in a fry pan and made with:
    • meatballs
      • added just before cooking was done
    • chunks of steak
    • garlic
    • tomatoe sauce
  • bread sticks and
  • glasses of "Diet Pepsi"
The sauce was poured over the meats, etc. and the noodles mixed in after the sauce was well mixed with the other ingredients.

Snacks are easy as I don't buy the dark chocolate bars any more. I just have a small amount of dark chocolate 
chips and several Girl Scout shortbread cookies.

Years ago, some idiot conservative right wing religious group said don't buy Girl Scout Cookies, the money supports Gay Liberation Groups!  Kathie and I had to go to the local mall and made a point of buying more  than we normally would have...

Breakfast: We went to the "Old" McDonalds, which closes tonight and had
  • three pancakes
  • sausage patty
  • scrambled eggs
  • potatoe patty
  • bisquit and
  • coffee
I have to admit, this was the best "Big Breakfast" I have had at McDonalds in years.
  • The bisquit was not burnt or hard.
  • The scrambled eggs tasted fresh cooked.
  • I saved the potatoe disk to east at home later.
Lunch: We went to Arbys and I had a sandwich, fries and "Diet Pepsi"

Dinner: We went to Applebys where we had adequate service, the waitress arrived about a minute after we were seated and good food. I was surprised the French Onion Soup was actually hot!

I had:
  • French Onion Soup (which was actually hot)
  • sirloin steak
  • garlic mashed potatoes and
  • two beers
    • the first Stalla was excellent and
    • the second was very fine
  • No desert

Pre-Bed Snack: Some dark chocolate chip and Girl Scout "shortbread" cookies (just because...)

I felt hungry just before testing my blood sugar. I was surprised to find a score of 77. I'll have to keep this in mind when I discuss my A1C with my VA Doc and family MD.

I felt calm and mellow and didn't really notice hunger and was surprised to see the reading of 77. After that snack, I felt sweat break out on my hairline and shortly there after, I felt flushed for several minutes. Then (now) I felt fine.

Lunch: At the DCCC for

    • stewed chicken and
    • stewed beef

Dinner:  baked boneless chicken breast, baked potatoe and bottle of LandShark

Pre-Bed Snack:

The VA drew blood this morning and will test it for A1C and cholesterol. I can only hope this went well. My blood sugar is getting too high in the evenings! 

I am resigned to eventually going on insulin; I am not resigned to being used as a cash cow by the fucking pharmaceutical industry!

The morning score  is the same score I had last night 2 hours after dinner. I woke up hungry several times so this "65" was no surprise.

Considering how little I had for dinner, the score of 226 was a surprise!

I was beginning to feel weak just under two hours after finishing dinner. I checked my blood sugar and it was low: 65. I then sliced off two slices of Tillamook Extra Sharp cheddar cheese, put it on a slice of sour dough bread and put this under the broiler. I will have this with mustard.

I was feeling a bit down before lunch and then shitty in a variety of different ways. It seems fairly obviously to me that I had "blood sugar issues".  After my low morning score, I started winding down. I didn't feel too weird but I was feeling "low". After lunch, I just felt shitty...
